  1. I was at a quilt show, and saw a cool design wall, that would fold up in a bag, and thought it was the cat’s meow, but it was pretty expensive, someday I am going to buy this for my sewing room, it is a free standing item, which was pretty cool!

  2. Ah yes, a dedicated sewing room. A large windowed space with large tables, ironing board and sewing machine set up permanently, a comfortable chair, and a Bose speaker.

  3. My big dream is more space! I have a child planning to leave home in the next year and I intend to switch my sewing room to his room which would triple my sewing space. One of first changes will be to put up a design wall and eventually I want to add a longarm.

  4. I would like to add a design wall and an embroidery machine. I would like to do some cute quilts with embroidered squares for my grand babies.

  5. I would love to add a new iron. The iron I have is old but it does the job; however, it does leak water at times.

  6. What I’d like to add most of all is a sturdy quilt rack. I’d also like a lovely hutch to store items in, but right now, there’s no room for that.

  7. I don’t plan of adding anything in the near future, as I have so many UFO’s to finish and new kits I have not even started on.

  8. I would like to add a good sewing table. I’m using an old kitchen and some creative ideas for storage because I use my bedroom as a sewing room too.

  9. I would like my quilting books, sewing books and magazines organized better somehow. Im thinking a bookcase or something of the nature….plus I want a nice quilt hanger.

  10. First thing that came to mind was to add a sewing cottage to the backyard- separate! Seriously- another otter light, I’m always moving the one I have.

  11. I would love to add an assortment of threads. Seems like I am always running to the store to pick up thread in various colors for quilting.

  12. I’d love to build an addition to my small studio, with lots of natural light, room for my longarm frame and hand quilting frame, and space for my stash and supplies.

  13. Right now, my #1 most wanted/needed addition wanted is a cutting table. I’m hoping to have someone make one for me that is a little taller than most and larger than a folding banquet table.

  14. Those Sew Line tool kits are amazing. I currently use Sew Line glue for applique. I haven’t used the other tools. I’m a lefty so that fact that scissors are for both hands is a great feature.

  15. Im in need of a Quilting/sewing room. And would love a design wall and while I’m dreaming why not a long arm quilting machine ❤️

  16. My sewing space is in the basement along with storage. I need to get rid of non sewing related stuff to make room for fabrics. My hasband has a serger for me which he needs to put together and buy a motor for. He used at be a mechanic in a garment factory. I would like a larger ironing station. An ironing board is what I use now.

  17. In my dreams I would be adding a long arm machine for quilting, but in reality I will probably be adding a new ironing board…lol

  18. Hi Pat,
Hope you are well. I would love to add a surger to my craft room or an ironing station. Decisions, decisions just can’t decide what I want next.
    Thank you
    Susan

  19. A larger room would be awesome, but that’s not likely to happen, so I think a good die cutting machine would be cool.

  20. I would like to add a room so I can have a big work table to put my sewing machine on it. I enjoy being in my sewing room. It’s my peaceful place. Just not big enough for me to keep up with my supplies.

  21. I think new storage would be a great addition to my sewing space, then of course if I got new storage I would need new fabric to go in it. Thank you for all you do.

  22. What I would like to add is…. fabric marking pens or pencils, rotary cutter refill blades and some nice sharp small scissors.
    Thank you Pat

  23. Fabric always but my iron is getting kind of tired, that will need to be replaced soon. And one of those wide ironing board tops would be awesome!

  24. I would love to add rotary blades . I go through them so fast because of all the cutting for the lap quilts for the ministry.
