  1. The next item I would like to add is a floor to ceiling cabinet for storage. I can’t wait to see how you reorganize.

  2. I want to add a dedicated cutting table! I’m so tired of ‘making do’ with the dining room table that is ‘almost’ the right height but not quite. I dream of the sewing space that I used to have before my divorce………….space for everything and then some! Too bad I couldn’t get that old Summer Kitchen as part of the divorce!

  3. Seeing as I just purchased a Babylock Crescendo in August, I’d love a pink iron!! I’ve been drooling over one for quite some time!

  4. I dream of having a small long arm quilting machine, but my next purchase will probably be free motion quilting rulers (besides fabric, of course 😉).

  5. If I added something it would have to be a bigger work table, but there’s no more room. So I’ll settle for a fat quarter bundle. That I can fit in to the closet just fine.

  6. Once I get the floor tiling project for my new sewing room completed as ientioned yesterday.. I think the next item I should add to me sewing goodies is a new iron that doesn’t spit out rusty water at the most in opportune moments… Willing to take suggestions as to which I should get..

  7. would love to add more room with a better shelving system. It’s impossible to keep the room neat and tidy looking, I get going on my many projects and it looks like a hurricane hit the room. (Maybe I need a new studio space, and keep one room for storage and one room for the work?)

  8. Fabric! Low volume and small scale fabrics! As I work on the Splendid Sampler, I keep realizing that my past choices have been for fabrics that are too large scale to work well for small pieces!

  9. I need to add storage space. I have filled the closet and 2 standing shelving units but I still have more “stuff” (good stuff) that I would like to put away. Too much clutter does not promote my desire to work in my room.

  10. I would love an organizing cabinet to store my UFO’s. It would be nice to have shelves to store the projects and keep them organized. Looking at a few, but so far, haven’t found one that fit the bill. Any suggestions?

  11. I would love a dedicated space for just sewing. Generally I’m in our main living space with a project in my lap, and a pet or two trying to get into said lap. Oh what a mess! But new tools for quilting, all brand new, opening those fresh new packages one at a time, hearing the plastic and paper separate! Oh my, that’s joyous to me. Then cutting fabric with a fresh blade and it glides across, the stuff dreams are made of!!!

  12. I would love a plain old serger. I have a cover lock machine and its too complicated because I seldom use it. I think I would use a regular, simple serger!

  13. I want a new sewing cabinet and bookcase for my books and fabrics. I want to move my sewing area from laundry room in the basement to a room on the main floor of our house. But I hate to give up the spare bedroom that mt grandson will have when he comes to visit.

  14. I would love to have a really great iron. One that isn’t too heavy, makes a lot of steam and gets hot. Oh yes reasonable price, I’m not buying a car.

  15. I would like to add a long arm machine so I don’t have to go out and rent time on one. Now I just need the room to set it up!

  16. I really want a wool iron mat so I can move my ironing board out during piecing…to move more fabric in!! Pinking shears, that’s on my list, too!!

  17. I have enough fabrics, notions, tools, patterns, etc., to keep me busy from now until the year 2043, but what I really really want for my sewing studio is Pat Sloan’s book Teach Me To Sew Triangles!!

  18. I’m just now starting to get into machine embroidery. I have a Baby Lock Sofia 2. I think I may need a bigger machine with a larger hoop. Someday, I hope!

  19. I would love to add a Longarm machine and the backing and batting so that I can finish the nearly 100 quilt tops I have completed! Until then, I think I would enjoy a FQ bundle and one of Pat’s books!

  20. I received a wonderful sewing station for Christmas last year but I could really use a new ironing board or station.

  21. I don’t need anything at the moment …but..would like every quilt pattern that I see, lol. Would like a blue , burgandy, and cream materials to my stash

  22. I would like my room to be upstairs with lots of windows! I need sunshine to be motivated. Also a Cresendo would be nice too.

  23. I have lots of the basic tools, such as the rotary, rulers, cutting board, a sewing machine, thread, seem ripper, and Pat Sloan’s basic books. So, what’s left? I really need to build up my stash so I can get sewing.

  24. I would so love a huge design wall! I do your quilt alongs and other quilts at the same time and would love to see the blocks I’ve done plus be able to work on layouts for other quilts.

  25. I would like to add a small FMQ machine and table like you have in your corner to tackle some of the larger quilts. I’d rather do them myself, but I do need more practice.

  26. I don’ t have anything that I plan on adding to my quilting space in the near future. I think I have everything I need in my sewing room. I need to find more me time. Right now my parents are up in years and if there is anything I can do for them I will and do, I couldn’t ask for better parents. Also I still have a son at home, that depends on me. I just try to sew every chance I get.
