I did a Facebook LIVE on Saturday morning to share my space… come take a look then enter Giveaway #3 at the end.
It was so much fun to flip on Facebook Live for an impromptu walk through my studio
I did not do the captions at Facebook because I have to manually edit them. It’s translator is not very good, and this one was too long for me to go through and rewrite it.
Instead I put it up at Youtube and you can select their closed caption which is better at translating

I had to take a week away in Hawaii with my 8 month old great grandson and after getting back on Arizona time, doing laundry and grocery shopping I’m finally trying to get going. Wish me luck. Oh, btw, I’m never caught up, in reality. Happy quilting!”

Well I am just beginning and I recently took a class on Watercolor Sea Horses (they are my favorite animal so I just had to). It has turned out great so far and can’t wait to finish it. Someone in the class had mentioned that I need to follow you as you were doing an easier quilt along, Merry and Bright, so I started following it and once my other quilt is done I plan on starting to work on it, once I get into a sewing groove I can get a lot done so I haven’t started it yet but am confident I will catch up quickly. I have also printed off the Be My Neighbor blocks and want to start it as well. Oh and I have been following the Let’s Go Camping quilt along too. I am so excited to begin these projects.

I have three current projects, lol. First, a leader/ender project of 4-1/2” Churn Dash blocks. Second, a Burgoyne Surrounded quilt that was an APQ quilt-along a few years back titled Tone It Down (I think). Third, I have two lines of top stitching + buttons to finish a self-drafted cotton dress. My replacement third project, once the dress is completed, is an olive green cotton twill lightweight fall jacket.
I’m swapping back and forth between projects because I get bored looking at the same one while working on it for very long. So I am making a quilt for myself that’s just star blocks but with some fabric I’ve been hoarding a while, a baby quilt for my neice, a quilt for my sister for Christmas (it’s a doozy) and then I’m doing the “Sew in Love” BOM Quilt, which I am loving already. Oh and I need to do back and quilt 5 quilts… I’ll get around to them, lol.
