Organized Studio Space tour, DAY 3 of 3 giveaway!

I did a Facebook LIVE on Saturday morning to share my space… come take a look then enter Giveaway #3 at the end.

It was so much fun to flip on Facebook Live for an impromptu walk through my studio

I did not do the captions at Facebook because I have to manually edit them. It’s translator is not very good, and this one was too long for me to go through and rewrite it.
Instead I put it up at Youtube and you can select their closed caption which is better at translating

Sew much fun trying to keep it all going and interesting. Oh, almost forgot I am also working on a Christmas wall hanging as a gift at Christmas.

  2. Currently switching between several projects: quilting several wallhangings, making tote bags, wool applique, punchneedle, and crocheted afghans.

  3. Currently I am quilting by hand a Halloween applique wall hanging. As soon as it is finished, I can get back to my Sunday Drive quilt that I’m making with a Cake mix recipe. Can’t wait!!!

  4. I need to get rid of a bed in my guest room, so I can organize my sewing room. I have alot of ideas, just have to get started. I love following you and just ordered your triangle book and applique book. Can’t wait to get them.

  5. I am currently working on Merry and Bright! Have the blocks all done thus far and working on the setting blocks. Looking forward to Wednesday and the next block!

  6. I am working on a scrap quilt. It is just using small scraps…very random. Each block is 1 1/2″ X 3 1/2″ so many blocks to make! Scrap quilts are by far my favorite!

  7. I am stuck as usual. I wanted to try binding from the back to the front by domestic machine. Instead of just “doing it” I want it to look nice.I want to have the front and back caught as I sew it with a decorative stitch. AFRAID it won’t look as good on the back. So I just stare at it every day and do nothing.

  8. I am currently making some Christmas table runners and also 3 t shirt quilts. I keep going back and forth between them.

  9. I have 5 in the works- two 5&dime for granddaughters, a Christmas diappearing 9 patch for my daughter, and two batik jelly rolls in progress for grandsons.

  10. I just finished quilt blocks for my DIL’s sister’s wedding guest book. On my way for a little trip, then when I get home, the machine is going for a a checkup and I’m organizing my room!

  11. I am working on sew many…lol merry and Bright, Sampler 2, Facebook group BOM, and getting UFO’s quilted. Plus I always have some sort of hand project that I work on when I don’t have enough time to be in my sewing room. Mostly, hand embroidery or cross stitch or epp.
Thank you Pat for another chance to win.

  12. Right now I am making doll clothes for Christmas. After I finish them I will be starting Merry and Bright I am excited about starting this one. Thank you.

  13. I am working on a king size quilt called the 45/90 degree pattern. Instead of using the ruler, I’m using my Accuquilt to cut all of the fabric. I’m using the 12” dies for the outside blocks and the 6” dies for the inner blocks.

  14. I am working on Merry and Bright while making a batman costume and I just made a loaf of Bunny bread from felt (inspired my artist Lucy Sparrow). I’m about to start on a felt jar of Peter Pan peanutbutter to go with my bread. I also have a wall-hanging started. It’s a work in progress.

  15. Thanks Pat,

I final finished quilting my quilt now I’m ready to hand sew the binding. I have the winter solace
Quilt with you, and a Dresden plat quilt I finished about 3 years ago. I have been scared to quilt it. I guess there are a couple other things too. I’m trying to hold that bar up there.
    Thanks again

  18. I am currently handsewing a basic quilt that is only 3 yds of fabric. I fell in love with the material because it is Christmas but also because it has music notes and instruments on it. My grandfather played the fiddle in his bluegrass gospel band for many years and has several awards and one fiddle was displayed in the smithsonian.

  19. I’m sewing the last bit of binding on a quilt I made for a great niece. The pattern was Sawtooth Star with a different print in each center. Each star was a different color. I’m hoping that she will use it for several years. Loved your series on organization…it’s my next step when the quilt is done.

  20. i am making an ocean quilt for my grandson. he loves sharks. i have used google images and coloring books for applique patterns. i found a free shark pattern from missouri star quilt company. i was also fortunate enough to find a free 30″ whale pattern from moda. this has been a fun project but i’m ready for my next project. another grandson wants classic cars. i’m searching for a pattern but haven’t found any thing yet.

  21. I currently sewing three baby quilts—shower gifts for my two pregnant nieces, one having a girl, the other having twins but not doing a gender reveal. I gave one to my mom to hang in the wall in her room at assisted living. I gave the second one to my daughter in law. I will keep one and give the fourth one as a gift. I love the pattern!!

I am currently working on several projects – the first in line are: sewing the binding down on a quilt and sewing labels on other quilts for my guild’s show in October, sewing Civil War variable star blocks together, sewing appliqué blocks for a Christmas quilt, and making Christmas stockings for my church’s Christmas giving project. Never enough hours in the day!

  27. Trying to finish a t-shirt quilt for Grandson #2 and a fish quilt for Grandson #1. It would be nice if I could get them finished by Christmas!
