I did a Facebook LIVE on Saturday morning to share my space… come take a look then enter Giveaway #3 at the end.
It was so much fun to flip on Facebook Live for an impromptu walk through my studio
I did not do the captions at Facebook because I have to manually edit them. It’s translator is not very good, and this one was too long for me to go through and rewrite it.
Instead I put it up at Youtube and you can select their closed caption which is better at translating

A baby quilt for our youth minister and his wife.
Have set my quilty projects aside as I sew my DD’s wedding dress. So excited!
It has been fun watching you re-organize. Thanks for the chance to win. My space is kind of in transition. I was well prepped to move into our new condo in January. Now, the finish date is late September so things are half in and half out. Not fun.
My current project is a Halloween pattern Ms. Winifred’s Closet by Just Let Me Quilt. It is so much fun and I am on the final border. Yippee!
I am currently working on a baby quilt for my great nephew.
I am working on Merry and Bright and also a king size lattice pattern summer quilt that I should finish just in time for the end of summer. I am using your quilt as you go method from your video and it has worked really well. It’s also my first attempt at free motion. I’ve learned a lot with this one.
A jelly roll quilt for breast cancer awareness.
I’m visiting family next month, so working on little presents for them – many pillows and table runners. Christmas comes early when you have an opportunity to give in person and not ship! When I return home I will be an I Spy quilt for my grandson.
As usual I have several projects ongoing…sure would be nice to retire and be able to work on them!
I am currently working on getting my sewing room organized. I have made good progress. I am currently sewing the Merry & Bright blocks, a 365 day challenge, the Christmas Fig, the Splendid Sampler 2, and a quilt for my 88 year old father for Christmas. I am bound and determined to keep these projects up to date and complete them. LOL Thank you Pat for everything you do to keep quilting an active craft.
I am working on some UFOs. I have several tips that need to be sandwiched and quilted before I start the merry and bright quilt.
Currently, I have 3 projects in the works–a 24″ Dresden plate pillow, a pineapple table runner and place mats, and a lap quilt.
Currently making a Doug Leko, Antler Quilt Design, table runner using leftover Christmas fabric scraps. Fun way to try his “Folded Corner Ruler” on a pattern designed well before the ruler. Also saving the Merry and Bright patterns to work on when time permits. Items made for Christmas are always handy for gifts.
I am working on my first quilt. Love doing it and would love to find more time to work on it.
I have many projects in the works at various stages. My pile to be quilted is waiting for a bedroom to open up in my house for a new machine. the research is endless, but hopefully by next summer the rooms will be empty and my new machine will be waiting. Until then. I’m working on my UFO projects. Table runners and many blocks of the months that need borders.
I’m currently working on a quilt called Mesa Valley which was in a sew sampler box from last year. It uses Tula Pink’s Spirit Animal & it is gorgeous. Almost ready to go to the spa, just need to find backing, It will be a gift for my niece.
I’m doing two Merry and Bright quilts in different colors to give to my two daughters. I’m working on a block of the month from my LQS. And I’m working on a quilt to be auctioned off for the local Humane Society (a no kill shelter) who is in dire need of donations.
I am currently working on an catch-all caddy for my neighbors mother to hang on her walker. I. made one for a couple of years ago. She now has a red and black walker so she wanted one to match the colors better than the blue one I originally made. It is turning out pretty cute. I also have two baby quilts that I need to finish and one to start to be finished in December. This is all in between running my grandson back and forth to Kindergarten everyday. Sometimes it is difficult to work around those times but I will get fihished.
Lol! Great slogan!
Right now, I’m currently working on some Halloween bags for the grands…hope they like them!
I am actually working on 2 projects right now. First is a double wedding ring quilt using the Inklingo pattern using navy, gold, and a dark and a light grey fabrics. Second is the quilt Barns and Terraces in turquoise and grey fabrics.
I am working on a simple panel, pieced to practice my quilting technique, my first plus sign quilt and I am binding my first sampler.
I am sewing on a wall-hanging to give to my mom for her 80th birthday in December. It is embroidered with “thank you mother for teaching us to sew” She is the person responsible for instilling a love of sewing and handmade items in our family.
I have several things going. Finishing up potholders that match aprons I’ve made for gifts. I’m creating a special label for grandson’s quilt. Also about to begin a Star War’s quilt for another grandson. Christmas is coming, so there are many things to create or finish!
I am joining the blocks for the Laundry Basket pumpkin applique quilt. I machine appliqued them and am very happy with my results. I really want to be able to display it for this fall season.
Love your Wednesday sew along

I am currently working on my daughters Christmas present. It’s a grinch quilt:)
SEVERAL projects are rotating through my machine: piecing blocks for a quilt for my SIL, a baby girl quilt needs a border for a blanket ministry, two zipper pouches for gifts, AND…piecing a backing for a finished (hurray!) quilt top!
I am working on a Jinny Beyer block of the month and Splendid Sampler 2 blocks.
What a wonderful sewing studio, so bright and cheerful! I am currently working on a plus sign quilt using Hazel & Plum for a friend who is getting married. The beautiful warm colors are perfect for an Autumn wedding gift 🍁
My sewing “to do” list includes 2 sets of baby boy items that my mother has requested, raising the hem on my neice’s wedding dress, bridesmaid goody bags for that wedding and clothing for two youngsters out of Minnesota fabrics. Those are just the items I am supposed to get done by mid-October!
Making Christmas stockings out of cutter quilts and fabric pumpkins Then on to t-shirt quilts for customers.
I am working on several projects , but trying to focus on Christmas gifts,. I’ve made a few table runners, and I’m still working on (hanging my head in shame) “Garlic Knots”. I guess it is my “go to ” project when I want to play with the fabrics. Also working on a quilt made with vintage linens, and vintage hankerchief’s, etc. Trying to figure out the best way to put together different wight fab rics. It is a challenge, but I am determind.
Cheers,
maggie

My LQS, that I was still in progress of a block of the month, recently closed while we were in the middle of it. I did receive the remaining material and instructions – so working on finishing that up. First time learning to paper piecing! So far it is a love hate relationship between the two of us 🙂

I have been working on a baby quilt for my neighbor. I’ve known her since she was born, watched her grow up, went to her wedding, & when her parents retired & moved to the shore she & her hubby bought their house. Now a new generation is coming next month. The top is done & ready to be quilted. After that’s given away, I have a small Christmas walll hanging to be quilted. Plenty of other projects to be completed or started.
