The Random picker decided my Logcabin quilt should live with Joann S who said
"My favorite quilt is the first quilt I ever made! My daughter wanted to learn to quilt and she convinced me to take a couple of classes at our fabric store – I was only mildly enthusiastic about quilting – even though I had been a sewer for years. I decided to check out additional classes for us at my local quilt shop and there on the wall was this wonderful quilt with birds on branches. When I asked about it – they told me they were having a retreat the following weekend to make this quilt! I signed up -( my daughter couldn’t attend for family reasons). I made that quilt, which I adore ( it hangs in my sewing room!). Since making that quilt, I am completely hooked on quilting! I had heard people talk about quilting as an addiction, but didn’t understand it until then. This was the quilt that got me to become a quilter!"
Congratulations Joann! I've emailed you

Congrats Pat. My favorite quilt that I made is a Christmas quilt Bringing Home the Tree. It makes me smile and the flannel backing is so cozy.
My Favorite quilt is one I just finished. The quilt is called Garden Maze by Brenda Plaster. Brenda asked me to test her pattern before sending to the editors. (I am an amateur). The colors of my quilt are Blue,White and Light green. I have it on my bed and I love it!!!
My favorite is a wall hanging quilt made for my mother from small 9 patch blocks hand sewed by her mother from flour sacks. I also quilted it and it hangs over her bed. It was an absolute joy to make!
My favorite quilt is my Hazlenut Hall, it is a story quilt about Milo the mouse that I hand embroider in red. It took a whole year.
One of my favorite finished quilts is a group quilt we designed and made for our quilt guild for the raffle quilt. It was called “Seasons of Friendship”. Great quilt, fun to work with friends and went together much easier than all of us thought. We are still good friends.
My favorite quilt is the QOV I made for my husband the Christmas before we were married. He cried when he opened it. It is so special as it meant so much to him.
I think my favorite quilt that I’ve made was a spool pattern that was done in pastels….I loved it but wound up giving it away as a raffle item. It was a good cause and it went to a good home, but I always think about it.
My favorite quilt is the Stars and Stripes quilt I made for my brother and sister-in-law. I designed one of the flags a Cuban flag to recognize the country where my sister-in-law was born. They both thought it was pretty special.
Congratulations on 100 thousand subscribers!! My favorite quilt is the one I just finished. It’s called “Burst Revisited” by Stephanie Soebbing. It’s done in blues, greens and grays.
My favorite quilt is the single spool of thread I made using selvage edges and the scissors on top.
I made a patriot scrapy quilt with 2 1/2 inch dark blue/light blue 4 patches and red/white rectangles between the 4 patches. It turned so nice and was so much fun to make I had to keep it for myself. You know some quits are just like that!
My favorite quilt is the BOM I did from the Sew Sampler box a few years ago called the Barn Block quilt. It’s done in blacks, grays and creams. It is the first quilt I did like this and I didn’t know anything. It hangs on the wall outside my office and I can stand or sit and admire it. I can’t believe I made it.
My favorite finished quilt is one I did as a block of the month done with my Quilt Guild. It is black and white with very bright colors. I used piping to separate the different blacks and white blocks. Was a creative journey and very fun to do.
My favorite quilt that I completed was made from a Jason Yenter line from In the Beginning. It had dragons and yummy blue fabrics with celtic designs and beautiful blue dragon scales. I made a king size quilt to surprise my daughter who loves dragons. It turned out so awesome that it was hard to give away as I love dragons too. She loved it.
My favorite quilt was a Raggedy Ann quilt that I made when I belonged to a Quilt guild. Our quilts were donated to Safespace for children. It was the first time I appliquéd. I hand sketched a pattern for the doll then machine quilted it.
My favourite quilt is the Barn Star Quilt. I fell in love with as soon as I saw it.
My favorite quilt is the first one I made, a very simple quilt with large blocks in diagonal rows. It’s a family favorite!
My favorite quilt that I finished was a baby quilt for my cousin’s daughter. I’m from Illinois and my cousin was stationed in southern CA at the time with her husband. Since we had a long distance shower I had a deadline to finish the quilt so it could be shipped with the other gifts. It was a simple quilt in beautiful pastel pinks and blues. The baby girl recently became a grandmother. Finishing quilts is not my forte, there is so many beautiful fabric and quilts out there and I want to make them all!
My favorite is the baby quilt I made for my 10th grandbaby! A logcabin in pinks, teals, and greens. The print had lady hugs and butterflies. I backed it in flannel.
My favorite quilt is a sampler made in my favorite color, purple.
Congratulations on reaching 100,000 subscribers! My favorite quilt is “Elvira” a free pattern by GE Designs. It was done at the beginning of pandemic lockdown when we were all so afraid. It’s done in Asian fabrics.
My favorite finished quilt is my double wedding ring. I made it for my husband and myself. We have been married 26 years. It is purple blue and green. I love it and made it 124” by 124”.
The favorite quilt I have made was the Pete the CAt quilt for my grandson. He just loved the books and now has that quilt on his bed.
My favorite quilt is the quilt that I designed, sewed, and quilted for my first grandchild. The look on his face was priceless when I gave it to him for Christmas when he was around 12. His mom left a few weeks later making many threats to their dad and the kids. I hadn’t finished the binding on it, but he was so upset and crying that I cut the binding off and gave him the quilt to take home and know that mamaw was holding and loving him. His dad said that my grandson wrapped it around him and held onto it all night. The love and peace that quilt gave my grandson was more than I could ever put into words.
My favorite quilt I ever finished was a scrappy bear paw for my daughter and her husband. I used lots of scraps from her projects and dresses I had sewn for her. And he loves bears. The background was fabric she used to create a fake headboard in her college dorm. Navy blue sashing grounded it all. With so many of her favorites in the fabric and his love of bears it seemed like a great match for the two of them. I’m still stunned I made it when I see photos of it.
I do love the falling triangles quilt I made.
My favourite quilt is the one I made for my daughter on her graduation from university – she got a first class degree in Astrophysics and the quilt was a huge scrappy star! So proud of my girl ❤️
My favorite quilt would be the one I made for myself with tan, brown and tourqoise with a southwest flair. It has a feathered star center with some beautiful feathers quilted in the star. Thanks for the opportunity to win one of your fabulous quilts.
Each new finish becomes a new favorite as my skills develop. I have recently finished Scrappiness is Happiness and I love it! I used my scraps and stash and each fabric has a memory or past quilts attached.
My favorite quilt is called United We Stand by ThimbleCreek. It’s red white and blue with Abe and George and the Statue of Liberty with hundreds of 1” squares as sashing. Thank you Pat for all you do for us!♥️
My favorite quilt I have made is a log cabin that I did as a class at a quilt shop.
My favorite quilt I made was my first quilt. It is a yellow lap top of shoofly and hourglass blocks. Hand pieced and hand quilted. It took me so long to make!! Now I machine piece and still hand quilt but have so many ufos but there are so many tops I want to make!! Thank you for your sew alongs I love them!!
My favorite quilt is Sweet Childhood Memories. I have made many quilts but this is the first sampler quilt I have made. I am actually keeping this one for myself to put on my guest bed which is a shocker to my friends and family. LOL
My favorite quilt is one that I made based on the 6 inch trivet my aunt sat her teapot on every day. Blue Willow. It took me a year to complete and I love it. It is blue and white and very scrappy and was so fun to design and make.
My favorite quilt was a roundabout quilt with bright colors. I made it for my step granddaughter on her graduation from Norte Dame.
My favorite quilt I made was a roundabout quilt using colorful fabrics for my step granddaughter on her graduation from Norte Dame.
My favorite quilt I made was a Puzzle Quilt that was also a fabric exchange among quilting Friends. We each picked 3 fabrics to exchange with each person in our group. Then we gathered together and each made our own puzzle quilt with all the fabrics combined. This was not the easiest pattern I had done but loved how each person’s personality showed in the quilt by the fabrics they contributed. I made a special label for the back so I could remember which fabrics each friend contributed.
My favourite quilt is the one I made for a friend’s baby. Pinks and cream, it was so soft and delicate!
Block quilt (top that is, still need to quilt it!) done in a class with an instructor & quilt judge well known locally. Said his mom taught him to sew, and he and his wife were both quilters. He used to win ribbons at the county fair – for baking! (couldn’t enter quilts being a judge!). He since passed away, I learned so much from him.
Probably my favorite quilt is Eleanor Burns “Els Kitchen”–Dating Myself 2013–LOL! It was hard–all those 5/8″ cuts! but I learned so much & really got creative with it. It helped me to step out of “the box” & just play with color, fabric, & embellishments.
I recently completed the quilt called Nestled in the Trees by Coach House Designs. I just love all the trees. It really made me perfect by “stitch & flip” technique.
my favorite quilt that I made was a quilt my mom and I made together. It was all polyester pastel flowered prints. It was one of the first quilts I made and it was made for my neice. My sister still has the quilt and uses it in her guest room. The quilt was tied and we used big fluffy polyester batting. It will probably last forever.
My favorite quilt as of late is called antique lace in pastels of green and pink. Though Harrisonburg is right up there. I normally give all mine away but this one is staying on the bed for awhile. My daughter keeps making sure it is still there, Guess she likes it too. Congrats on reaching 100,000. Can’t understand why you don’t have more. Keep up the great work.
My favorite quilt is one I made for my Grandson, Benjamin, called Centre Ice. He still has the quilt in his closet. Almost 20/years ago.
I love your videos and try to watch them every day.
Congratulations on 100,000.
My favorite quilt was the Harrisonburg. I just finished it and I can’t wait to show you at the Virginia Quilt Museum event! See you there!
My favorite quilt was the one that I made for my daughter’s wedding present, it was a sampler quilt using the curve ruler, it was king size and the colors were different tones of yellow and light and dark grey.
My favorite quilt right now is my On Ringo Lake by Bonnie Hunter. I added borders on the sides so it will fit my queen bed. It is the perfect summer quilt in teals and peach and pink. Congratualtions on 100k subscribers!
My favorite quilt is one I did as part of a challenge with my sisters. As we wandered through a quilt show one year my sister Nancy suggested we do a “challenge”. We were each given one yard of a fabric (chosen by Nancy) and we were to make a quilt…any size, shape or pattern. It was fun and I love that quilt!
It’s hard to pick just one favorite quilt, but I really love the sampler lap quilt I made from Kansas Troubles fabrics. I combined blocks from two different qal projects that I had never finished. They just happened to be the same sized blocks luckily. Congrats on your 100k!!!
My favorite quilt is my Hunter’s Square quilt. It was made with two fabrics. One was black and the other was a cherry ombre. The ombre fabric gave it a lot of movement.
