The Random picker decided my Logcabin quilt should live with Joann S who said
"My favorite quilt is the first quilt I ever made! My daughter wanted to learn to quilt and she convinced me to take a couple of classes at our fabric store – I was only mildly enthusiastic about quilting – even though I had been a sewer for years. I decided to check out additional classes for us at my local quilt shop and there on the wall was this wonderful quilt with birds on branches. When I asked about it – they told me they were having a retreat the following weekend to make this quilt! I signed up -( my daughter couldn’t attend for family reasons). I made that quilt, which I adore ( it hangs in my sewing room!). Since making that quilt, I am completely hooked on quilting! I had heard people talk about quilting as an addiction, but didn’t understand it until then. This was the quilt that got me to become a quilter!"
Congratulations Joann! I've emailed you

My favorite quilt was my first – but it was a joint project. At a family reunion in 1953 my Grandma had all the female attendees embroider their name on a block. Since I was just barely 5 my name is not so beautifully embroidered, but I think I am the last surviving “quilter” from that reunion. A couple years ago, my cousin sent the quilt to me. I cherish it.
My favorite quilt is a lap size, very scrappy quilt called Sunshine and Shade. It was a pattern in American Patchwork and Quilting years ago. I had some odd and sundry fabrics that didn’t really seem to go with anything but in this quilt they are such fun!
My favourite quilt I have made is Regent st for the queen,s jubilee. The blocks are union jacks in pretty soft colours with pops of raspberry and navy. I made it during the jubilee celebrations.
My favorite quilt is a simple nine-patch made with City Weekend fabric by Oliver & S for Moda. It came out in 2010 and was their first fabric line. Thanks so much for the chance to win. A big Congratulations on your YouTube mile marker!!
My favorite quilt was one I made for one of my granddaughters. I babysat for Ivangelina every day and she loved Minnie Mouse. I bought a Minnie Mouse panel and then made pinwheel block to surround the panel. It was a twin-sized quilt. I have never sewn with that many shades of pink in my life! Anyway, I have never seen a bigger smile on a two-year old face as when I brought it to her. When she pulled it out of the bag, she just hugged it and hugged it. There was an awful lot of love that went into piecing and free-motion quilting that quilt.
I’ve a few other fancier quilts, but that was my 3rd quilt so I didn’t know much but I figured it out.
My favorite quilt that I have finished has got to be a pastels sampler. I’ve made quite a few sampler quilts with my Quilt guild, and local Quilt store. Summer bright, some are Civil War. But I like the clear colors and the pastels best.
I love Halloween. I purchased a witch hat pattern while visiting Hilton Head and picked up a few fat quarters to add to the ones in my stash. I love everything about the finished quilt including the memories from the trip. It hangs in my living room every October.
Fall is my VERY favorite. So naturally my favorite quilt is a simple rail fence done in all fall fabrics. Lots of fall fabrics! It makes me smile every time I get to see it!
I never know what email to put. My newsletter email is kermc@yahoo.com but my YouTube is a gmail.
Thank you!
My favorite quilt I made was probably my first time quilt in 2018 which is just a stacked rectangle quilt. It’s nothing fancy but for me its a quilt I did it. I was never an inside sewer or cook growing up but always outside. I’m the last person any of my friends would think or in their wildest dreams, pick me to be a quilter. But this quilt makes me happy and quilting during the pandemic kept me sane! I’m now on my 48th quilt!.
My favourite quilt is a Applique quilt that I made using scraps .l just love how it turned out.
My favorite quilt is my Jelly Roll Jamboree..it was the first quilt I made and my family thinks I’m a professional quilter now! Mom can make anything..
My favorite quilt that I have made is Elizabeth Hartman’s Dinosaurs.
My favorite quilt that I have made was a block of the month. Stargazer. It took me 2 years, but was so worth it.
My favorite quilt I made was a paper pieced using the state flower fabric that came out about 20 years. I used my embroidery machine to stitch the name of each state in the sashing under each block. Only 42 block as there many states that share a state flower. I was new to quilting and this large a quilt almost did me in.
My favorite quilt is the quilt we did during the initial Covid quarantines. It is the Stay at Home quilt sew a long that you created Pat. I finished it in April 2020. I use it every day in the winter on the couch. It will always remind me of that time in our life.
My favorite quilt was one that I made for my daughter who is getting married in October! It was the biggest one I’ve done so far. I used Bonnie and Camille’s Nantucket and some of Dwell. I loved the colors so much! I’ve been watching and waiting for this giveaway! I would love a chance to win such a beautiful quilt! 💕
My favorite quilt I made is the Santa Hat quilt by Lori Holt. I had fun searching for fabrics so that I could make each hat a different red print. Some are older fabrics, some are newer fabrics, and it turned out great! It makes me smile every time I see it!!!
My favorite quilt is a Marti Michell Block of the Month from the early 2000’s. The top sat for years until I finally machine quilted it myself during the pandemic. Every block has a ladybug somewhere in it! Love it!
My favourite was a baby quilt by Magic Little Dreams for our daughter’s first child.
I started a quilt for my sister when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Unfortunately she passed away before I could finish it. It is showing wear now and is so soft and cuddly. I treasure it as it reminds me of her.
My favorite quilt I have made for myself is the Lemoyne Star. I am of Dutch ancestry and used fabrics from the Dutch Garden collection from Boundless. Yellows and blues are my favorite combination of colors.
My Favorite Quilt I made is one i made for my oldest. She picked all the fabric in varying shades of pinks. I used it as practice for my longarming and did different motifs through out it. She recently moved into her first apartment and it is a prized possession.
My current favorite quilt is a scrap quilt. While making star points for a king-sized bed quilt, I saved 400 HST that measured 1 1/2″ ( that’s 1″ finished). I used Pat Sloan’s Surprises” block and made 25 blocks. In the top border, I stitched the question “What do you do with 400 blocks leftover from your last quilt? THIS! Thanks, Pat for the inspiration!!
My most favorite quilt that I have finished is one that used a bird panel from Art Journal and off setting floral fabric from Botanical Journal. It hangs in my sewing room for me to enjoy.
My favorite quilt I ever made is a very simple pattern I found at Missouri Star Quilt Co. The name of the pattern is Phoebe’s Flower Box. I made it with the fabric that Missouri Star recommends, a beautiful purple and grey line (can’t think of the designer). It is beautiful!!!!! Phoebe has an excellent home with my daughter. Every once in a while I will ask her how Phoebe is doing!!!! LOL
My favorite quilt : I started 7 years ago. I finished it dec 2022. It is a Merry Christmas to me.
I have not made many quilts but my favorite is a baby quilt with an elephant as the center piece under sheer fabric. Made 30 years ago for my 1st grandchild. His mom still has it and has used it for 5 great grand kids. I need a quilt for ME. LOL thank you.
My favorite quilt I made was plaid flannel on the front and thick, cozy cuddle on the back. It was the second quilt I quilted on a longarm machine by myself and I was so proud to have completed it all by myself! The quilt was gifted to my great nephew for his graduation who wrote “it means so much and it is beautiful”. My heart is full!
My favorite quilt I made was for my brother two yeas ago. It was a scrappy quilt that I used fabric that I had of deer, bears, fall leaves and autumn theme borders. He was in an accident on his farm and spent many months at home recovering. So this kept him warm.
My favorite quilt is an airplane quilt that I made for our grandson’s Christmas gift.
MY favorite quilt was my first one that I did as a teenager, long ago. I did alternating quilt blocks and embroidered blocks. I had no previous quilt experience. I had done a lot of sewing making my own clothes and stuffed animals and gifts. I dove right in and it turned out so nice. It was a crib sizes, but I loved it so much I made one for my own son when the time came. Sadly I have no photos of it. 🙁
I am fairly neew at quilting and haven’t finished a full size quilt but have many ready to go. I have finished a table runner in blues and whites which I gave to one of my daughters and am almost done quilting a quilt for one of my granddaughters. It is my favorite so far. I’m sure whichever one I’m working on will be my favorite.
My 1800’s pineapple quilt is hands down my favorite quilt. 6 friends exchanged blocks for this one. Love it.
So far my favorites are the All the Tidings from the Fat Quarter Shop and selected blocks from Elizabeth Hartman’s Awesome Ocean.
My favorite quilt is my ugly quilt. It was longest UFO, but I had finished it. It was made out of pile old sweaters and jeans… and every quilter’s mistake.
My favorite finished quilt was my Scrapiness is Happiness quilt until I just got back my “Brightly” quilt from the spa that I made for my best friend (of 60 years) who was recently diagnosed with a rare form of salivary duct cancer. I love all your videos everyday. I don’t really have any friends who quilt, so watching your videos everyday feels like family. Thank you for all you do. Diane Bushe, NJ
My favorite quilt is a quilt that I made for my daughter. I make quilts for each new and nephew when they turn 10 years old. With each quilt, I ask for their 3 favorite colors and try to integrate them into the quilt. With my daughter’s quilt, she wanted multiple fabrics in the 3 colors–pink, purple, and red. I used 2 blocks. One was a hanging pinwheel and the other a chain. I used a white background fabric. The pinwheels were made with a four patch. Each square in the 4 patch had 1 large triangle with 2 smaller triangles. Because she wanted multiple fabrics from each color, I was using over 12 fabrics. She helped choose each fabric. The quilt was machine quilted with butterflies so it looked like the pinwheels were flowers.
My favorite quilt is from a block of the month that a local quilt shop did in the 90’s. It is a blue and yellow quilt that resides on my queen size guest bed.
My favorite finished quilt is a crumb quilt, a riot of color
My favorite quilt is one that was a block of the month quilt and designed by the owner of a local quilt shop. It has a lot of flowers appliquéd on it. It turned out beautifully and I use it as my summer bed spread.
My favorite quilt was Bringing Home the Christmas Tree by Lori Holt. We own a red truck so I modified one of the cars to a red truck because we bring out tree home in a truck. My husband had to replace our truck. I panicked. I told him he had to buy a red truck or he would ruin my quilt. He did purchase a red truck so all is well.
My favorite completed quilt is The Secret Life’s of Color. My background is black and the blocks are vibrant. But my favorite quilt is always the next one!!
I love to use scraps so I will also delve in to my scrap bins for this project.
My favorite quilt is probably the one I made for my husband because he loves it so much, he continues to love it even though it had some wear. He even had me make repairs rather than toss it, because it means so much to him. I created a new one to replace it, but he still won’t let go. It warms my heart that he values it so much.
My favorite quilt I made is an Alaskan sampler quilt from a pattern that I purchased in Alaska while on a cruise and I used quite a few fabrics purchased in .Alaska as well. Congratulations on 100,000 subscribers, you rock!!!
I have many favorites. My most recent fav is Bringing Home the Christmas Tree. I had so much fun making lt. a pure joy!
It’s hard to pick one. I made an Elephant Stomp quilt as a baby gift in peach and soft green fabrics that is my favorite – at least for today!
I think my fav was an animal lime green stack n whack for my first grandchild. I used it at home because my daughter didn’t want it for a girl.
My favorite quilt that I have made is a batik “Turning 20”. I have it on my bed and it makes me so happy.
My favorite quilt I have made is a Christmas scrappy Winter Solstice Quilt from one of your sew alongs. I love it so much I have made 2!
