  1. The best part of 2024 was my son becoming a US Marine and getting back to quilting helped me survive the time he was at boot camp. It was a long 13 weeks

  2. 2024 has been a year of so much growth, not just on my quilting journey but also my spiritual journey. God is always covering my and my family with his grace and love. My husband lost his job of 26 in early May, it took six months before he found one so my spending was very minimal. Still I had enough stash to make some quilts. This made me slow down and take my time sewing, which turned out to be a learning curve because I saw my quilts coming out more precisely. I also took the time to do my free motion quilting in my small sewing machine and learned even more.
Pat thank you so much for your video and your Facebook group, they are a great encouragement for me.
Have a wonderful and blessed New Year.

  3. 2024 was a good year. I so enjoyed making the Ode to National Parks quilt. I would love to win this flower shop kit. Thank you Pat for all you do for the quilting community. Happy New year!

  4. Wow! 2024… what a whirlwind. My accomplishment for this year was adding to the charity sewing I’ve been doing. in addition to making animal beds from my scraps, I made a large batch of pillowcase for our local children’s shelter, and donated two quilts for live auction fundraisers.

  5. My best thing about this year was spending more time with my son’s family. My daughter lives 45 minutes away so I see her family once or twice a week, but my son lives an hour and a half away. I was happy to actually exceed my quilting goals and only have to UFOs to finish and lots of plans.

  6. This year has had some struggles but we are all still here and all came home for Christmas .

  12. Besides having family close enough to see often throughout the year, I was able to purchase a new sewing machine. It’s more than I ever expected I’d own in my lifetime, and as I prepare to retire next year, I know it will be part of many new and exciting projects. Happy New Year Pat!

  25. Happy in 2024 to have found a traveling friend and to be back on the road after my husband passed away in 2022. He and I loved traveling. In 2024 my friend and I traveled to Amsterdam for tulip time. It was wonderful.

  26. The best thing about 2024 was the time I spent quilting, making new projects, my goal is to finish these projects. Nothing exciting happened, no babies being born , but did have a wedding in the family.

  27. 2024 has been a rollercoaster health year for me of highs and lows.
I am blessed by the ‘high peak’ of tasting freedom & opportunity by getting my first electric wheelchair. I’m already looking forward to attending the quilt show in London with my local quilting group.

  28. Many things throughout the year to be thankful for – the improved health of several family members, who were struggling is one of the most important things. Good friends who support me and are always there is something else that means the world to me. Being able to enjoy and take part in things I enjoy is always an added blessing.

  29. I’ve just recently discovered you from a new quilting friend and I am enjoying all your videos! I started quilting this year and I’m hooked!! 😆

  39. My best memory from 2024 was finishing my Piece and Quilt Sampler. I loved gathering all my hoarded Bonnie and Camille fabrics and just Camille fabrics and putting them together. I managed to keep up, and even finish ahead of schedule, despite having a knee replacement which took me out of commission for six weeks.
