  1. I love bags, they need a zipper, as I over stuff them. I add a cute zipper pull and I am ready to go.

  2. My favorite bags are the ones with the clear vinyl so that I can identify the project easily. I want to make one and have all the materials but have not done so yet. So far, just purchased them. Good luck with your Mom. My Mom had AF and lived to 98 1/2, her goal was 100! She was a quilter.

  3. Good morning Pat- I am so sorry that your mother is having heart health issues. I live with my sister and she also suffers with this . It takes awhile to regulate all of it! Thank goodness you were there! She was blessed!
My favorite bag to make is the Bodobo ditty bag- I love their bag patterns and have made many of them ! I hope you find a new normal soon! I know your mother is grateful and happy you are there💕💕💕

  4. Morning Pat, glad to get an update on YouTube today. My favorite bag is an origami bag that can be made very small to very large. It is simple in design but holds a ton of stuff. Hope your Mom is able to leave the hospital soon.

  5. My favorite bags are these mesh bags, too. I have a sunflower one that has my current cross stitch project in it. So good to see you on YouTube this morning. Prayers for your Mom and your family.

  6. I’d would love to own a mesh bag to hold my pending projects. I do love the zippers and tags things!

  7. Hello Pat, firstly my thoughts are with you during this transition, helping to care for your mom❤️
I not only quilt, I also make bags, tote bags, shopping bags, and purses. So fun to branch out and make different things!
    Thank you for everything, Darlene

  8. Good Morning! My favorite bags are ones you can see thru to see what is in there. I like to make and use the vinyl project bags. Hope you get back to “normal” soon….

  9. I love the mesh bag that is included in the giveaway. I cross stitch something on the bag to customize it. Thank you for the giveaway.

  10. I do like the mesh bags for storing projects, sadly I only have two at this time. They take up less room than my plastic project bins, which I love. Thoughts and prayers for your Mother and all of you, totally understand what you are going through. Take care.

  11. My favorite bag is a small cross over bag I made a few years ago. It’s perfect when I’m out shopping, at fairs, or sightseeing. Holds everything I need and keeps my hands free.

  12. I think many of us can relate to what you are going through. Back in 2011, my husband and I moved my mother in law into our home. She had Alzheimer’s Disease and could no longer take care of herself. It was one of the most challenging five years of my life. You give up everything to help a family member in need. Try to take some time for yourself to do what you love. Your physical and mental health are important as well. Take care.

  13. My favorite bags are the FQS mesh cross stitch bags! I also love the Lori Holt bags made from her panels! Take care of yourself.

  14. I do not have any project bags. But I made bags for all the bridal party in our daughters wedding. I embroidered the names on each of them. Mine says Mom, so that’s probably my favorite.
Thank you for all that you do. I have learned so much from you. Best wishes to you and your mother.

  15. I love any type bag but especially the boxed corners are so useful. we seem to find things to use them for. Prayers for your family.

  16. I love clear project bags when quilting. I have made several larger totes and my favorite is the Tango Tote.
Our hearts are with you and Mom. We miss your sweet videos and want you to know we are thinking of you during this life transition.

  17. My favorite bag is one that a fellow quilter gave me. It s a pretty deep red with the name of our group and a spool of thread that she embroidered on it. I use it to carry supplies when we meet for a group sew-a-long, mostly making quilts for the Linus Project and other items for a local foster home.
I understand all too well what you are going through, as I have gone through similar situations twice. Yes, your body is tired and your brain is exhausted. Take all the time you need, we will be here when you come back.

  18. My favorite bag is a by Annie bag I sewed. It’s my fist bag I sewed. I may try another. Thank you for opportunity of winning i enjoy getting packages but don’t we all.

  19. Thinking of you and your altered schedule 🙏🏻. I don’t have any project bags yet.
I either use ziplocks or plastic containers!

  20. I like to use canvas bags from my past conference/convention I attended in the past. I embellish over the advertising with patchwork. They are great for my take-along projects and washable. I also feel good about repurposing the bags.

  21. My favorite bags are usually the ones I make. I’m a collector of bags. I order this bag for my sister’s birthday and she loved it with all the little goodies inside.

  22. I do love these mesh bags, especially the ones I have cross stitched a design on. I have done at least three of these. Thanks for all you do especially during all this time as you help your mom.

  23. I love bags, I buy ones while on vacation and have sewn quite a few. Most are medium to large, I have made several of the Clam Up from By Annie they fit a ton of notions are are a quick one to make and I’ve given for gifts. This project bag set would fit into my sewing studio perfect and would be put to work 🙂 Pat my heart goes out to you, and yes it’s a challenging time and you feel like there’s not enough time in the day. Take the time you need, as we’ll be here when you’re able to come back to a more normal schedule.

  24. I like the breathability of mesh bags but also love the clear project bags. All the best to you, Pat. I helped my dad and then my mom when they were aged and had illnesses. Not only does it consume your life, it forever changes your perspective, your patience and compassion toward others going through the same thing. I would not trade a moment of the sacred privilege of caring for them. Love and prayers. N

  25. I am definitely a bag person! I have all kinds but my favorites are those with the vinyl fronts so I can see what is inside. Prayers and love for this season of your life. Experienced something similar with my mom and learned to enjoy the time I had with her. She is truly blessed to have you and your brother!

  26. My current favorite bag is one I learned to make at a quilt quilt meeting. We used the playable soft screening material and it’s great for beach trips.

  27. My favorite bags right now are pouches to hold my cords and socks and underwear while I’m staying with family. I also made the Sandhill Sling Bag and it’s turning out to be my favorite ‘handbag’.

  28. Things will feel and look better as the “norm” comes slowly into focus. Don’t forget to treat yourself with some down time each day—I found it helps to keep everything in perspective.
My favorite bag changes annually. Our local quilt store gives away a bag with a certain amount of purchase. We are called “Bag Ladies” throughout that year with discounts 😀😜 My wonderful husband gives me a gift card in the amount needed so I’m always a Bag Lady!!
    Keep the faith.

  29. I love the mesh bags because I can use them in many different crafts. I use them in quilting for the smaller pieces. I use them in card making to keep my card supplies in one place. I use them in embroidery to keep my project in one place and easy to find. I will keep you and your mom in my prayers as it can be a very difficult time for everyone. Stay strong and keep the faith. Sending you virtual hugs!

  30. Good morning, Pat. I’ve made some project bags for cross stitch and each one becomes my new favourite! Some are quilted and some are actual cross stitched pieces set into the bag front. We’re all thinking of you as you navigate this time with your Mom, and supporting all of your choices with videos, etc. Take care!

  31. My favorite bag is one I received from my mother. It has denim on the outside, several compartments, and lined with vinyl which turned out to be a good thing as I once had a water bottle leak. I do love the mesh bags I got on Amazon for cross stitch and have multiple projects, each in it’s own bag.

  32. I love see through bags for my projects so I can see what’s inside!! other bags i love a good strong canvas bag as I tend to over fill them. All the best to you and your Mom.

  33. I love these mesh ones also!! I do have one I made that used chicken fabric that I like to use. I plan on making more!

  34. I use a lot of zip lock bags for homemade kits, WIPs, scraps, orphan blocks, etc. I also find the cloth bags from quilt shops handy. I usually bring one to quilt shows to carry any purchases.

  35. My favorite bags are the ones I make. I don’t have any of the mesh bags, but I would love to try one. Prayers to you and your family. I know how stressful all of that can be because I went through it with my mom.

  36. This is a hard one! I use different bags for different types of projects. I think the one thing that important to me is to be able to see what project is in the bag. I have been where you are right now and understand you need to put your mom at the top of your priority Good luck and sending hugs!

  37. My favourite bag for accessories is the retreat bag – they open wide for easy access- I also like the clear project bags for holing various projects- easy to see which projects are in the bag.

  38. I have many different bags. I don’t have a favourite. It’s a challenging time in your life but you will never have regrets about helping your mom. Take time to enjoy having her close to you.
    Cheryl
