  1. The last quilt I made was for myself. It was an art quilt for the group challenge. Made a still life of a pear with reverse applique.

  2. The last quilt I made was a Christmas gift so I can’t say who it’s for until after Christmas. The one before that was one of two for my twin nephews. It turned out adorable just like they are. If I’m lucky enough to win some jelly rolls, they’ll be made into a quilt for my sweet granddaughter.

  3. The last quilt I made was for a benefit raffle for a friend with breast cancer. (She’s completed treatment and so far so good!!)

  4. I made the last quilt for me n I’m hoping that the next one I make which is grandma kitchen will also be for me but I won’t know that till it’s finished and if one of my friends says that they really like it I will give it to them. I’m enjoying your group I thank you for adding me to the flock..

  5. I actually made 4 quick quilts at a time. 3 baby/child quilts for my youngest cousin’s kids. It is tradition for quilts to be given to the newest kids in our family that was made by my grandmother. She passed many years ago and I the only girl in the family (grandma’s 4 daughters and 25 granddaughters) to take up quilting have continued the tradition. The 4th one was the first of my daughter and her 7 college friends that saw her quilt (made by my grandma)and asked her if I would make them one. They are in Flagstaff, AZ and not use to the cold and snow unlike Tucson. One down and 6 to go!! I can’t resist doing this for young adults that I have known since they were in middle school.

  6. The last quilt I completed was the Dandy Flower for my mother-in-law. She turned 93 and unable to work in her flower garden so I made her a quilt with flowers. I have never made a quilt from a jelly roll but would love to give it a try.

  7. I last made a quilt for my nephew’s baby girl. It was with pretty pink floral fabric.
    It is their first baby.
I am going to make Grandmas Kitchen Sew Along for me; after I finish a block I am working on for a swap partner.

  8. Last quilt I made was for my daughter. I gave it to on her birthday and the day she came home from hospital after major surgery. Loved the quilt but, I drove down and surprised her.! It was the best gift I gave her, so she says!

  9. I love your fabrics so much but I love your heart. I have learned so much since I started my first block of the month “globetrotter” with you a few years ago. Would love to win.

  10. I just finished a wedding quilt for my brother and soon-to-be-sister-in-law.
I’m working on a jelly roll quilt for myself using moda jelly rolls and a pattern by Candace Hassen.
It’s looking pretty good so far. I think this is a pattern I will use again for gift quilts. However, this one is mine. ♥️

  11. Last quilt I made was for my granddaughters 10th birthday in August. It was a very old quilt kit I bought in 2001 called My Flower Garden. Had about 18 old kits from the 1990s and early 2000s and tram trying to put one together every couple of months while I proceed with all my general quilting. Next quilt will be a jelly row 1600 that will fit a queen size bed for my granddaughter it will have a large applique of her favorite sports team on it. Her request. I generally am working on about 5 quilts at once. Gets complicated. Love your kitchen blocks.

  12. I pulled the jelly roll and background/border fabric on Friday. I have had a pattern I wanted to try for quite a while. Don’t know the name of it and too lazy to walk back to the sewing room to look. Friday night I cut the strips and background, getting absolutely ready to sew right after breakfast on Saturday. I put in at least 3 hours on Saturday, Sunday and yesterday. Still two rows to piece and attach as well as borders. It has been a terrible, funny, puzzling, relaxing and despite all that a very enjoyable experience to create the ugliest quilt I have ever made. My fault. I pulled a roll from my stash that didn’t come shrink wrapped. I have/had 4 of those. It was a gift. Didn’t want it to sit on the shelf and get dusty or faded folds. The prints are way too busy for the pattern, but some kid out there will love it – at least they usually do. I’ll put a photo up on the regular FB comments page. It is truly enough to make you goggle eyed.

  13. My last (current) quilt is for a baby whose dad is a recovering addict. His ministry is now a part of our church and is called the Anchor. I made sure to include an anchor for him.

  14. I recently finished the Winter Solstice quilt top but it hasn’t been sent out for quilting yet due to cost. I did just buy a backing so hopefully can send it out soon. The Jelly Rolls would be great to use for Grandma’s Kitchen!

  15. The last quilt I made was a baby quilt for my Physical Therapist. She wanted light blue, gray and elephants. I added a touch of yellow/gold for a little pop.

  16. The last quilt I made was for my husbands best friend. the quilt I’m working on today is a jelly roll strip quilt for hurricane victims.

  17. Last quilt is for my great granddaughter due in December. It still needs binding. I would love a jelly roll. I really like Moda fabrics.

  18. The last quilt that actually got finished was one I started for myself at least 3 years ago. It was my version of a postcard quilt. Since I hand quilt, it took me about 6 mo on and off. I am really enjoying it now.

  19. Quilting is the best way to get through menopause. Although you do get to play with a lot of sharp objects… Just sayin….

  20. My last quilt was for me! The grandaddies all received one recently as well. I just love to design and play with color even if I don’t know where the quilt will eventually end up.

  21. I am a big fan of jelly rolls and now that my little granddaughter has become interested, I can’t wait to share them with her1

  22. Jelly Rolls are yummy yummy and looking at it just give you an inspiration to make a new quilt. I am a beginner but Jelly Rolls are still yummy and inspiring.

  23. Last quilt I completed was made for a baby to be given this weekend. I named it Bumble Babee since I used some Bumble Bumble fabrics.

  24. Our oldest grandson graduated this past June and wanted a black quilt with turquoise and blues. It is a wonderful quilt for him especially because the back is flannel, so it ‘snuggly” as he requested.

  25. The last quilt I made was for myself actually! I was experimenting with trying to quilt the pattern on the back Of The quilt instead of the front. It was an interesting challenge and The quilt did turn out fine.

  26. My last quilt was for my new granddaughter due in December. Thanks for the giveaways, tips, tricks and videos I love it!

  27. I made a quilt for my son for Christmas. It is my goal to make a lap quilt for all my family members for Christmas. Jelly rolls make it easy. I have made 7 so far and have 5 more to go.
