  1. The last quilt I made was a Christmas wall hanging. I was practicing with my HQ Avante and beginning ruler work was so much fun. I love your fabrics and designs and you’re such an inspiration thank you for all you do.

  2. My last quilt was a quilt guild challenge. I did not have a recipient in mind but when I showed it in our guild, one lady wanted to buy it on the spot. She REALLY liked it a lot. My sister, when I posted it on the internet, expressed that she REALLY likes it (too). So, my sister will get it.

  3. For a charity auction. I made Shinning Bright by Center Street Quilts. The charity is for the Historic Banner Elk School that the Town bought. It was built as part of the Workers Program during the Depression and is made of natural stone from this area. The school sits in the center of our town and is quite a landmark. The proceeds from the auction help pay the mortgage on the old school. Too many of our landmarks are being erased because no one cares. It took a visit to Monticello to see how important it is to preserve history.

  4. My last quilt was for my grandson. He graduated from high school this past spring and I made him one with his college team print-it turned out great!

  5. My last quilt was made for my godchild’s new baby. i am in the process of making some quilts for my guild’s community quilt project that distributes quilts to those who need them most.

  6. Oh jelly rolls…love them………..I would use it for a charity quilt ..if you decide to send me one….plzzzz…plzzzz. tyvm

  10. Last quilt I made was for my newest granddaughter! She’s number 6 and is sweet and very beautiful of course! 😉

  11. Wow, Pat love your second colour ways! Blues with greyish colours and the punch of red all work together wonderfully! I’m super excited and perhaps slightly hopeful that I might be lucky one day! What a delight!!

  12. I have finished a quilt top for my cousin made using her parent’s clothing and the last quilt that I completed was given to my mom for her birthday.

  13. I last (recently) made a quilt for a family in our church who took in three children when their last surviving parent passed away.

  14. I’ve just finished a totally scrappy quilt for a terminally ill friend. I asked her to infuse it with love for her son. I sat up most of the night with her, handstitching the binding. I think that seeing me stitching made it more precious for her.

  15. I sewed on National Jelly Roll Day but I was working on Grandma’s Kitchen sew along, getting caught up . . . almost. 2 blocks to go – can I get them done before Wednesday? Doubt it as I work full time and I have an after work meeting on Tuesday night. But I’ll give it my best shot!

  16. I am currently working on a quilt to give as a wedding gift. The last quilt I gave away was to a church member who had just lost his wife. It was actually something I was working on for her but she passed suddenly before I could get it to her.

  17. haven’t made a quilt from a jelly roll yet but have been thinking about it. I make quilts for all the newborns in our family. Love it so much!!

  18. Last quilt I made was the Solstice Challenge. So much fun! I have never owned a jelly roll and would love for this to be my first <3

  19. The last quilt I made was for my daughter-in-law… she needed a pick me up… I loved seeing the smile on her face when she received it…

  20. My latest quilt is for my Mom. She just turned 86! And the two before that were for two of her great grandchildren, on just born a week ago and the other due in December. I like to get the baby quilts done so they can be used to bring the baby home from the hospital.

  21. My last quilt was a T shirt collage for my oldest grandson. I used all the T shirts he’d gotten from various concerts. It was really fun to make. The T shirts were outlined with chenille and it finished the edges so well. I used a jellyroll to do back ground for a Applique quilt, really liked the look. Would love to win a jellyroll.

  22. The last quilt I made was for my mother-in-law for this past Mother’s Day. I then started a patriotic quilt for a WW11 veteran in our church who had just learned he had terminal cancer. Unfortunately, he passed quickly and I didn’t get to finish the quilt and gift it to him.

  23. I finally finished a quilt I started for myself! I keep it on my cozy chair and use it everyday. On to the next one.

  24. My last quilt I made for my sister, who took me to Paris a few years back.
She wanted black red and fawn. I found a loverly print with French ladies in fashionabe dresses and line drawing of the sights of Pares in thoes colours and
I set in window fraims of black and fawn.
I hope it reminds her of our fabulious time in Paris together. I would love the jelly roll also, have neices comming along who are in need of quults. Thank you

  25. The last 3 quilts I made were for one my daughter’ social worker, 2nd my very good friend and 3rd a wheelchair lap quilt.

  26. The last quilt I made was for my daughter-in-law’s mother. While visiting in Oregon she had hoped to see a whale. Unfortunately the weather at the coast did not cooperate–foggy. So I made a small quilt with lovely dark blue whales on a light blue background to remind her that on her next visit we’ll be off to the coast for another chance to view the whales.

  27. Last quilt I made was presented to a retired Marine at a Quilt of Valor event. I love being a member of QOV in Louisville KY.

  28. The last quilt I made was for my beautiful daughter, Cathey. She loves her cat and I made her a cat quilt with pillow to match. She was thrilled. Work in progress now is for my oldest granddaughter’s wedding.

  29. I made a quilt for my soon to be born first grandson. It was a gift to my daughter in law for the baby shower. Love sewing for the grands!
