The last quilt I made is for me. 20 years ago I won 23 “card trick” blocks at the Center Diamond in Canon Beach, Oregon. I decided it was time to put them into a quilt. Better late than never. It wasn’t easy because not all of the blocks were 12 1/2 inches including my own.π
My last quilt was made for my grand nephew. His mom made his room all in Dr. Suess. π

The last quilt I made was a queen sized piece for our friend who had part of her foot amputated. She loved it. Jelly rolls would have sped it up but used out of my stash to make it.
The last quilt I made was for my sister-in law. She and her late husband gave me and my husband a sewing machine for a wedding present. I made curtains, some clothes for my boys, Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls for children, when I retired I had a bag of jeans and wanted to make a quilt. So, the rest is what you would say, history. I got the bug. Learned everything from u-tube tutorials and made a quilt for my granddaughter for Christmas. My SIL was visiting and I showed her the quilt to see if she would be interested. She made such a fuss about it I made one just like it for her and gifted it to her for her birthday. Her daughter wanted to take it home with her so bad I am making a surprise one for her to take to her summer home. Love the sew alongs and I have mostly used only jelly rolls and layer cakes. Much easier on my wrists after cutting up jeans for that quilt. Thanks for the add to you glorious pages and wish I had half your energy.

The last one I made was for my my best fiends daughters wedding and boy was she surprised. I have 3 going right now, 1 to give away next Sunday the 24th at our town fair just because, 1 is a blue line police flag for and old friend of mines son who is a cop, and the last one one has been in the works works for a while now but I just need to sandwich machine stitch and binding and it’s done but that’s going to a total stranger … she donated $200 to my sons eagle project without even knowing me but on FB, and she was the lucky winner of the drawing. So she has a king size kindred pinwheel coming to her. I have yet to make one for me as I just keep giving mine away. Lol but it’s what i love to do and it’s all I can do since I can’t work.
The last quilt I made was for my grandson’s first “big boy” bed that his grandpa made!
The last quilt I made was for a dear friend undergoing chemo and radiation for stage 4 rectal cancer. I gave it to her last month. She was very surprised and delighted to receive it. It made me feel good to know that I was able to bring her a bit of joy during an otherwise dismal time.
