My last quilt was for my daughters wedding gift. It was also my first one. I love to quilt and have three more in the works(one is being quilted now). The other two are for my other two children. love the jelly roll ideas. I am also working Gramdma’s kitchen and the Splendid sampler… having lots of fun.
My last quilt I made is for my great-granddaughter. We are blessed with 9 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter and each one will have a quilt. The jelly rolls are great for so many of the patterns I choose.

I just finished a disappearing 9 patch for my daughter’s birthday the end of this month. Her 1st quilt is the first one I made about 15 years ago. It’s loved and has traveled across the country with her. It’s getting thread bare in some places on the back.She will be happy with a new quilt. I’m also working on 4 other ones for my little boys. 2 solstice quilts in different color ways, and one children’s library. The last one is a braid looking quilt, supposed to be quilt as you go, but I think I would rather do it on the quilt machine.

The last quilt I completed was for a dear friend who has throat cancer, it was scrappy 6″ blocks sashed together with black, I quite surprised myself as it looked really good when it all came together.
I made one for my co-workers father who was going through chemo. it was a Red, white and blue log cabin.

The last jelly roll I made is still under construction. It’s finished except for getting it quilted, though. It’s a beautiful pink and gray rail design. I used my leftovers to make a pretty little baby quilt using 2-1/2″ squares for it instead of rails. I can hardly wait to get it completed!. It would be awesome to win this jelly roll.
I would love to quilt using a jelly roll. I have heard a lot about them and seen them, but have not used them. would LOVE to try making a quilt with them, Never to old to try new things. my last quilt I made was a tshirt quilt for my cousins daughter. she was blown away on how it turned out. this is why I love quilting.
