I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!
We are on Block #4.. below is the download & link to my project page with ALL the blocks
TRUE CONFESSION.. this is 'Try #2' as 'Try #1' didn't quite make it.. want to see?

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.
So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

Humm….I quilt according to what is currently needed….baby, shower, wedding, friend, etc. I love the BOW and BOM quilts to keep me trying new blocks and themes. Just LOVE quilting! ❤❤❤
So far I’ve made baby quilts, lap size, twin size and double. Now it’s time to tackle something for my queen size bed, and Pat I think it will be sampler style using my favorites from Solstice and Grandmother’s Kitchen. I’d also like to try some really small projects, like bags and placemats.
I have been making small wall hangings and baby quilts mainly. I am feeling a little more confident that I can do a large quilt and hoping my Grandma’s kitchen will be the one. It is so much fun quilting along and reading everyone’s comments and advice. What a team you have created in us, Pat!
There are so many wonderful fabrics and patterns out there so I can’t resist mixing things up. I do a little of this and that as the fabrics, patterns & inspiration guide me.
Love this pattern and oh the blues… fabulous once again Pat. Thank you so much for your site and support.
I started with baby quilts, but now do mostly bed quilts. Easy to advanced, the more the merrier!!!
I have made a few larger quilts, and some small projects like purses and table runners, but I tend to make lap quilts, or toddler size quilts most often.
I mostly marines quilts, but thinking of making smaller projects.
I am new to quilting, and have only made small projects so far, but one day I would love to make a full sized bed quilt. I love mug rugs, mini quilts, quilted bags, and am learning a lot here.
WOuld love to have this give away. Need to really get back into my quilting.
I have made both. It really depends if I like the pattern once I get started.
Always love a giveaway and love new patter ideas
I love Be My Neighbor and am starting it this week! I love blue giveaways!!!!
I make lap quilts now but hope to eventually make a queen sized quilt for my bed.
I make mostly baby or lap quilts because I find queen size too difficult to quilt on my domestic machine…but one day a long arm will enter my life.
I’ve worked on mainly small and lap projects but with all this inspiration and support, I just might try someting bigger. How exciting!!
Thanks for your wonderful ideas and knowledge.
Ann
I will go through stages of making wall hanging then placemats & tablerunners and then lap or bed quilts. I need variety.
I make mostly baby quilts to donate, but hope to make a quilt for our bed soon. I find myself constantly checking out fabrics; it has become a bit of an obsession. I began to learn to sew and quilt when I retired in 2013.
I tend to do more small projects because I’m usually making gifts
Like table runners and wall hangings. I would like to make a quilt for myself. Love the colors in the jelly roll.
I am new to quilting and have made three tops one for a single bed, two lap quilts.
Recently I have made mostly lap or baby quilts.
Lap and bed quilts I’m wanting to do some small stuff but I haven’t got there yet!
I have done one of each so far! 🙂 I only started a few years ago and I work VERY slowly. I also do yarn work so I have to rotate the projects that I do.
I seem to go with the flow of the need. For hospital needs or cancer patients I do lap quilts. For family I do lap or larger. When I can do little I do. Hear the beat? Boom boom boom … I like sewin quilts and I cannot lie, you other quilters can’t deny! 😁
I seem to have only big quilts or small ones done; medium sized rag quilts mostly. When I make baby blankets, I usually make rag quilts so they can enjoy them for quite awhile! Really enjoy wall hangings and purses!
I mostly make lap quilts. Right now focusing on baby quilts for my granddaughter due in December. Thank you Pat for all the fun stuff you have gotten me into this summer. Am sorry school starts up again soon.
I make a lot of lap quilts. A couple of bed quilts. And many little fun projects
I love giveaways! Especially fabric. I mostly quilt lap size quilts for friends and family but I’m trying to make some tree skirts and stuffed animal pillows now for Christmas. Best of luck to all who enter!
Everything is bigger in Texas, and I think I take that to heart a lot. I tend to cook gargantuan meals, overestimating so no one is left hungry. When it comes to my quilts, I absolutely do the same, but an extra yard or ten of fabric goes so much farther than an extra pound of burger. I want to make sure that whomever is under one of my quilts is warm and snuggly with nothing left out in the cold.
This is beautiful fabric and I would love to do a pattern quilt with it . I usually make up my own but time to venture out. Thank you,Pat.
You are my go-to website now for ideas and inspiration ❤
I make bed quilts, and did I mention that blue is my favorite color?
A little bit of everything. I’ll make a big quilt and then do a couple smaller projects in between. Sometimes I like a small project so I can get gratification quicker.
Enjoy your project.
I love quilts of all sizes, but my more recent favorite seems to be a large lap quilt!
I’m realativly new, I have done big quilt for a friend a long time ago, now just small, they are more maneable. Thanks for the giveaway.
What a lovely giveaway!! I like to make lap quilts as my time to quilt is limited and the large projects (winter solstice for example, take me a long time to finish). Thank you for all of the fun and inspiration you share with us.
I make all sizes all the time! Usually for others. I think I would keep this for me!
Most of my quilts are large throw size or bigger. I keep trying to make smaller ones, but they grow somehow!
Love, love give away. Thank you.
I make mostly twin and queen size quilts. A few table runners thrown into the mix also. I crochet prayer shawls that have been given to church leaders, hospice, folks in the hospital, cancer patients, cancer care givers, confirmation class students. And many more whom the elders of the church I attend feel the need to gift one too. I love how praying while quilting or crocheting feeds the soul and heart.
Thank you for giving so much to all of us.
Mostly bed quilts, some lap and wall hangings to 😀
Happy Saturday! It is amazing how a little change in fabric really made your house block come together❣️ I typically make lap sized quilts or baby quilts as gifts, and minis are a fun way to experiment with different blocks or quilting patterns.
I enjoy making house quilts. Now working on my small world. Thank you for keeping us inspired.
I would love to win something
Great giveaway! I make small(minis) or lap quilts as I quilt on my domestic machine! Thank you, Susan
I adore the house blocks, and I love the weekly blocks (even tho I have been too busy to start the first one. I have them as ed on my drop box and will get to them this fall. Your FB page is so much fun and so inspiring. That k you so much for all you do to keep us quilters quilting!
I love to make all sizes. Lately, I have been doing hand sewing with smaller projects & sewing larger projects on the machine.
Hi! I make all different size things… Mostly lap and bed size quilts though. What a fantastic give away! Thanks for all you share with us!!
I make mostly lap quilts, but I’m also making a couple of queen sized bed quilts.
I’m a bed size quiltmaker, mostly king sized. Seems everybody has a king sized bed. We are a tall people, so even the throws I make for the sofas are at least a queen sized.
