I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.

So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

  3. I tend to make big quilts. Even my small quilts end up big. Everyone in my family like their quilts to go from their shoulders to their toes. If it’s smaller than that they think it’s a wall hanging.

  4. I do prefer lap or baby quilts as I am quite impatient and need to get it finished quickly otherwise I lose interest. probably not a great trait though.

They are so far from their own families and although being in the military you gain new family members every where you go I want them to feel loved and their new baby to be snuggled and warm while I have the privilege to work with their parent

  25. I love the colors in your giveaway! I prefer to do sizes from twin down to baby quilts, but have made a 2 queen size ones. The bigger ones are a lot harder.
