I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!

We are on Block #4.. below is the download & link to my project page with ALL the blocks

TRUE CONFESSION.. this is 'Try #2' as 'Try #1'  didn't quite make it.. want to see?

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.

So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

  9. Bed quilts or lap quilts. Although I have just bought a number patterns for bag and tote projects. Lol. Basically anything with fabric. Thank you for the giveaway.

  10. I make primarily bed quilts, but would like to start making smaller quilts as there are only so many beds and too many quilts 😉

  11. I love to make smaller sized art quilts from the swirling of my quilter’s brain, but for the most part I make bed-sized quilts because I love to know they can be used daily for warmth and comfort.

  12. Hi Pat, being a full time nurse at a VA hospital, there is really no time to shop, so please pick me. This group has become my second home. Late nights and early mornings at work, caring for my elderly mother in law at home. Thank you for all you do for us. You must be rxhausted.

  13. Love your website love the blocks and fabric love all the different ideas and people. I do a little of everything! I love quilting. Make the calendar quilts ,baby quilts made a full size quilt for my granddaughter who graduated from high school and is heading off to college in New Jersey.

  14. I make mostly small projects with a few smaller quilts in there. I love making table runners or purse/bags. They are quick and easy gifts to make a give away.
If I won this would be a great item to bless someone with. If I’m blessed to win why not pay it forward and bless someone else. 🙂 All while I get the pleasure of sewing and quilting it.
    Thanks!

  16. Please count me in the contest. Love the blues and my blue loving daughter is celebrating 45 next month!!!! Would make a great gift for her. I’d love to surprise her!!

  17. Whoot I love giveaways! My New Year’s resolution was to expand my quilting knowledge and have already done that by completing blocks with your Solstice quilt pattern and learning from you and everyone on your Facebook page. I also wanted to learn a new finishing technique so I am trying the quilt-as-you-go method to finish my Solstice quilt top. I am finding that dividing a larger project into small sections is actually more motivating for me because I know this big Solstice quilt top won’t become another UFO. I’ve gotten to try new things, will have a big beautiful finished quilt, and get the satisfaction of actually keeping a New Year’s resolution for once! So smaller projects have actually become my preference, but I have learned that I can manage a larger project by using the quilt-as-you-go method. Thanks Pat for your quilt-a-longs!
