I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!

We are on Block #4.. below is the download & link to my project page with ALL the blocks

TRUE CONFESSION.. this is 'Try #2' as 'Try #1'  didn't quite make it.. want to see?

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.

So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

And then I’ll get back to a full size quilt of diamonds I’m making for my granddaughter. I think I gravitate towards bed quilts but when a wall hanging perks my interest, I’m all over it. Flibbertygibbet? Maybe. But I do finish quilts really!

  16. I love giveaways but, unfortunately, never win. I enjoy doing all size quilts from small to large. I select a size when I know who the quilt will be given to as well as the pattern. I make a sample and decide if I want to continue to a larger project. Am using
your Cobblestone pattern for a birthday exchange. Keep up the good work of designing blocks.

  17. I’ve never made anything but full bed quilts (Everything from twin to king size). However, 😁 after discovering the world of mini quilts, being used as wall displays, I am itching to start decorating my own wall. I would love ❤️ to win this giveaway. Thank you for being so generous with your time and talents. The tutorials you provide help me immensely.

  18. I usually do bed size quilts, but I also like to other sizes especially holiday special occasion quilts, I like to display a seasonal quilt across the top of chair.

  19. I love your book “Teach me to Quilt”. I have garnered so much info from it.

I just finished my first crib quilt and my grand-daughter-in-law loves it.
Love your free block series too.

  20. I enjoy making all sizes of quilts. Love making totes, zipper pouches and handbags too. Thank you for the chance to win.

  21. I have made mostly queen size quilts for my grandchildren. They get them when they graduate from high school.

  22. I’m very new to quilting…still. I have a question: how long do you have to quilt before you can quit calling yourself a newbie? LOL
At this point in my quilting career, all I’ve made are throw/lap quilts and twin-, double- and queen-sized bed quilts. BUT, I have to admit (and I’m pretty embarrassed about it) even though I’ve been quilting for over a year now, I have yet to finish one quilt top! Yes, top!
There are several reasons (excuses) for this: 1. Life has gotten in the way several times and taken me away from it. I have started to work on this & made my #1 priority ME. Since then, I’m seeing a more consistent schedule of sewing, 2. I have quite a few projects started at once. I work on all of them consistently, but this “system” of mine has kept me from finishing any one project. 3. My quilting eyes are much bigger than my quilting time. LOL I’ve always been accused of my eyes being bigger than my stomach, and I’m seeing this has spilled over into my sewing, and 4. Almost all of my projects are BOM/BOW/BO?, so here I can blame someone else. (Now please don’t ask if I’m caught up with all these. Please?)
There is one, make that FIVE quilt project(s) I have completed though…for this past Christmas I made a set of 4 placemats and a baked potato pouch for my mom.
So, I guess I should change my answer from above to: I mostly make small quilt projects. LOL

  23. I love give-a-way and for once I would love to be a winner!…for 15 months since I started to learn how to make quilts, I have made about 8 blankets, 4 table runners …2 more blankets are on the way!!

  24. Hi Pat,
I’ve only been quilting since 2015 and so far I’ve made baby quilts, a couple of throws and a few ‘not quite’ double size quilts. My biggest so far was a quilt of valor for my Dad who just turned 90 and is a WWII and Korean War veteran. It is definitely my favorite so far!
    Thanks!

  25. Love the table runner. I make these a lot just for something to sew. Love the fabrics too. And of course the thread. What’s not to love.
