I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.

So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

  1. I do more small projects because I have a better chance of finishing them with the limited time I have for quilting/sewing.

  2. I like to make lap size but have made larger quilts.Enjoy making smaller things because they finish sooner.
    Really short on time but like making bags and household items too.

  4. My quilts have always been at least 70 x 90 or there abouts. I am just lovin the blocks you are posting. Also the variety of those blocks posted by quilters and stitches. As for the giveaway, I have never done a quilt in blues and would be excited and humbled if I should win. 10Q Pat for your time and energy you give of yourself. Blessings!

  6. Really love those blocks. They are gorgeous. I love to quilt and I’m happy to have a go at most things. I really want to complete quilts for my 3 grandsons before my hands get too bad and I cant do anymore due to Rheumatoid. Love the colours of the Jelly roll. Pat you are awesome and inspire and bring together so many people around the world. Its amazing how we all connect. Its fantastic to have such a great network ofquilting friends and support.   8. I love the Neighbors quilt, I haven’t started it yet have it printed out from last year. I love quilting I am in the middle of 5 different quilts now. I still have 5 quilt tops my 97 year old mother made in the 1940’s that I want to finish for her and my sisters. I just don’t have enough hours in the day for quilting. Just finished the binding on one of my Soltice quilts started on the 2nd one, 3rd & 4th quilt are at the long arm getting quilted.

  18. On my quilting journey so far I have made a throw and two baby quilts. In my UFOs I have a queen size patchwork, a patchwork baby, an EPP baby, and a queen EPP. Hope to live long enough to finish them and start some new ones! 😂

  22. I mostly do smaller items such as mug rugs, table toppers and runners, baby quilts and throws. However, I just finished an oversized king bedspread and am starting on a queen, so my repertoire is expanding.
    Love this giveaway! Thank you for allowing us to benefit from your expertise. I am currently saving the patterns for Grandma’s Kitchen and Children’s Library for this winter when I have more time. Am working on the Solstice. Yes, I know I am waaaayyyy behind, but I have the patterns, the fabric and hopefully after the first of the year will have the time.

  24. I have made and hand quilted pillows and wall hangings. Currently I am getting ready to add borders to my first bed quilt. I believe I will send it out to a long arm quilter. I love sewing the pieces together. I also made a table runner – Cathedral Windows by machine and love it!

  25. Hi Pat I make mostly bed size quilts however I do make table runners, placemats and pillowcases for my adult children each Christmas in addition to a quilt
