Where was your school located? Block #12 Celebrates all those in-town schools. I love when we travel through towns and spot the old schools. Sometimes they are still schools, often they are used for something else. My kindergarten and first grade were in a 2 room school house. Not exactly downtown, but in our community. You'll read about another school in the pattern.
THE Pattern DOWNLOAD is at the end of my article HIGHLIGHTED IN PINK, so keep reading
Share your block below in the Gallery and at my Facebook group

This is a school that my husband went to in his home town.
I have a little tip for you on the matching intersections.

TIP:
- Use a pin to perfectly line up the point on both units

TIP:
- Hold it in place and shift the pin to secure it

TIP:
- try pressing seams open and see if you like it. I'm using my Wool Pressing mat, LOVE it for making nice flat seams

General Store Fabrics version:

I am in much appreaciation that you have shared your blocks and ideas with us. Thank you so much and God bless.
thanks for another fun quilt. got it done and got witches night out all sewn and am making 4 table runners out of it for my 4 grandchildren’s homes.
my high school is now a library, newly built.
Pat thanks so much for Block 12, I’m working on a project this weekend and the block was so perfect for way I needed, so I used it for my project.
All the schools I went to are now open fields. One is a community park, the other scheduled to become a grocery store. I guess it’s a sign of the times or else my age is showing.
Pat, thank you so much for these darling blocks! As a senior, I have slowed down a good bit, but thought I ought to be able to make a block a week, and I have! I am also working on the last block of the little blue Christmas quilt as I fell in love with your fabric. You have given me the push I needed to do more, so now I want to begin the large house blocks. I have begun with block 3–is there someplace I can get blocks 1 and 2? You are a real boon to the quilting community!
Pat, coming from a very small town in E. Washington, your blocks have been a real delight. I can’t wait to assemble and complete my final block and the top today.
I loved this challenge!! I hope to finish this up this coming week !!! Thanks so very much Pat for a beautiful pattern to work with. I so look forward to the next challenge.
