  1. My Cozy is stepping back and looking at the finished quilt. Sometimes I ask myself…did I do that? WOW!… lol

  2. My most favorite block to make is flying geese. I must also add that although there are many ways to make them, I keep going back to the way I learned to make them using Eleanor Burns Flying Geese Rulers. Always come out great. Other methods, not so much. Thank you Pat for all you teach and inspire me to do. I appreciate you!

  3. The coziest part for me is when I get to FEEL it completely done and enjoy the masterpiece. Whether for me or to give away.

  4. I love piecing the best of the process of making a quilt. I LOVE laying under a quilt, hence the entire reason to make one for myself or someone else.
Regarding a cozy activity, I love clean clothes, and have plenty of memories of my mom and me hanging clothes on our outside lines in the summer, and sniffing the clean clothes, etc while taking them down. She never let laundry pile up. I do some every day, esp since I have two children and two twin grandchildren living with us. Life can be drudgery, or it can be enjoyable, even household tasks, and you can instill a sense of joy in doing them for your kids, grandkids, etc.

  5. My “cozy” is with hot coffee or iced tea and quilt patterns, quilt magazines, and Pat Sloan’s You Tube sessions on TV. I curl under a quilt and enjoy!

  6. coziest part of quilting for me is the planning. looking through patterns and deciding colorways. Other than quilt making I find sitting by a fire in our huge teepee very cozy and relazing in the winter

  7. My cozy part of quilting is doing FMQ when the quilt is loaded on the mid-arm quilting frame. Concentrating on the task at hand is relaxing.

  8. The coziest part of making a quilt for me is sitting under it to do the last bit of hand sewing. I love finishing up the hanging sleeve, binding, and label. It gives me the chance to admire all my efforts up close. Very satisfying and cozy!
