My favorite block is the Ohio Star!
I LOOOOVE THIS BLOCK
My coziest part of quilting is piecing blocks and watching the little pieces become a beautiful design
My Cozy is stepping back and looking at the finished quilt. Sometimes I ask myself…did I do that? WOW!… lol
I love to make blocks. To me it’s like putting together a jig saw puzzle, which I love to do as well
I find the whole process cozy I pick my pattern and fabric and work on it until it is finished.
The cozies… I just finished my first quilt and now I get to put it on my bed and snuggle.
My most favorite block to make is flying geese. I must also add that although there are many ways to make them, I keep going back to the way I learned to make them using Eleanor Burns Flying Geese Rulers. Always come out great. Other methods, not so much. Thank you Pat for all you teach and inspire me to do. I appreciate you!
The coziest part for me is when I get to FEEL it completely done and enjoy the masterpiece. Whether for me or to give away.
Is this where I say that I like the Churn Dash block, to enter the giveaway?
For me the coziest is when I have the quilt in my lap and Iām hand sewing the binding on
Hi Pat,
I think the video is last week’s video. Thanks, Becky
I love piecing the best of the process of making a quilt. I LOVE laying under a quilt, hence the entire reason to make one for myself or someone else.
Regarding a cozy activity, I love clean clothes, and have plenty of memories of my mom and me hanging clothes on our outside lines in the summer, and sniffing the clean clothes, etc while taking them down. She never let laundry pile up. I do some every day, esp since I have two children and two twin grandchildren living with us. Life can be drudgery, or it can be enjoyable, even household tasks, and you can instill a sense of joy in doing them for your kids, grandkids, etc.
My “cozy” is with hot coffee or iced tea and quilt patterns, quilt magazines, and Pat Sloan’s You Tube sessions on TV. I curl under a quilt and enjoy!
Love this!! š I love to cozy up to a new quilt while watching tv with my sweet hubby. š
coziest part of quilting for me is the planning. looking through patterns and deciding colorways. Other than quilt making I find sitting by a fire in our huge teepee very cozy and relazing in the winter
I guess the cozy part of quilting is what I am currently working on. If I get tired of that, I have other projects to cozy up to until I am ready to get back to that one.
My cozy part of quilting is doing FMQ when the quilt is loaded on the mid-arm quilting frame. Concentrating on the task at hand is relaxing.
My coziest part of the quilt making is when it is finished and I can curl up under the quilt.
The coziest part of making a quilt for me is sitting under it to do the last bit of hand sewing. I love finishing up the hanging sleeve, binding, and label. It gives me the chance to admire all my efforts up close. Very satisfying and cozy!
