The Glow of Friendship is strong when your buddies love what you love!

Jane and I both love Christmas 💕

Jane is SO creative! This is one of those blocks that really makes you think. Be on your A Game when you make it.

And the magical part is that when you do multiple blocks this amazing secondary design emerges.

This is with my red, pink and green of Morrison Park. Now I REALLY want to make it up in those fabrics

  2. Hi Pat! I hope this enters me into the new give a way packet. It looks wonderful. Hard question to answer, ‘Which is my favorite block?’. As I make quilts based on quilt design and /or fabric I want to use. So that incorporates many different style blocks. But having to chose one for this purpose, guess I’d have to say the Log Cabin block. Good ‘ol standard and can be turned different ways for different looks. I want to make a Christmas themed one some day. Thanks for all you do for us.

  3. Where would I find the quantities (yardage) or jelly rolls, layer cakes used to complete the large 24 inch block. I think if I had those separate quantities needed for each of the Morrison Park Fabrics used, I could then calculate how much fabric would be needed to make a full size quilt. I want to make it to give as a Wedding Gift for my nephew.
Any help you could provide or if you have an actual pattern with quantities already to go, I would purchase it or pay to download it.
    Thanks in advance,
    Cheryl Ceretti

  4. The glow of friendship block is very beautiful in your Morrison fabric. Your dinning room looks so inviting. Love your set up.
My favorite block is Log Cabin.

  5. Thank you Pat and Jane for this beautiful block. You have done an amazing job Pat with your recovering wrists!
It looks fantastic in Morrison Park, I love it in both of the color ways shown.

  6. I really love this block! I am going to try it in different colors after the holidays. About friends: we seem to have friends for different times in our life. Lifelong friends, quilting friends,Cruising friends, Bowling friends, and our Thursday night weekly chicken wing eating friends( who are also our cruising friends) Work friends and neighbor friends. I think we are truly blessed to have so many people in our lives as we get through this journey. My online friends are mine alone (hubby hates online social media) I get so many ideas and fun patterns and just plain good stuff. Thank you for being one of my Online friends. Merry Christmas <3

  7. I love this block, but I don’t have an “A” Game yet, so I am going to save it for a later time after I’ve had more practice. Pat, I really like your version of the block the best! The use of those stripes just make that block sing! I will definitely keep that in mind when I do get brave enough to try it. And by the way…..My order from the Far Quarter Shop arrived yesterday afternoon and in that box was your (Pat) quilt kit, Garden Villa in your Morrison Park fabric! I can’t wait to start on it, but I can’t do that now…..I have to get my Christmas sewing done first, but I will have it propped up in front of me so I can keep looking at it while I finish up Christmas sewing. I rarely buy kits, so I am looking forward to making it just like the picture! So excited! Thanks for sharing your creative side with us!

  8. Carol, I thought it was just me! I L-O-V-E this block, I love how you’ve pieced it Pat! I can’t download it, or even get to Jane’s website either! It’d be perfect for a wall hanging for friends and family, someone special for Christmas, or even Valentine’s Day with the right fabric. Can you repost here?!

  9. Such a great video today, as usual, and I love the Friendship block. The Morrison Park Fabric is a good pick for the design – I enjoy how the quilt fabrics meld so well with the Deer Christmas quilts. You are so skilled in picking fabrics – I would never have picked the strip fabric in the daily December blocks you are making and that would be my loss. Thanks for helping me see the possibility of leaving my comfort color zone and experimenting.

  10. It looks like her website is down. Could you post the pattern on your website for us? I love your videos and am glad your hands are doing good.

  11. Love love love this block. I haven’t yet purchased your MP fabric but I will now! Will a fat quarter bundle be enough?

  12. We must have temporarily broken her website. Will have to try the link later. Your friend has lovely videos for Advent. Nice treat!

  13. Seriously….this is a really cool block that turned out an incredible Wallhanging. You’all nailed color/fabric placement…

  14. What a cozy feel I get from seeing the pictures of your holiday display. And this block is beautiful. I’m still waiting for the FQ bundles to come in, but I did order some MP yardadge. I’m working up my project list for 2021, and this beauty is being added to it. Thank you to you and Jane for sharing with the rest of us.

  15. I love this pattern I have the perfect friend to share this quilt with. Can’t wait to make it Can you make this with the layer cake?
