  1. I will be taking a road trip to Tennessee to meet my niece and her family. I enjoy all of your quilty tips and tricks! Love watching your lives.

  2. John the Quilter here. I would love to win fabric and a tee shirt. If my summer plans work out, eventually I will need more fabric! I am working on the Piece a Quilt project but seem to be about 1 month behind!
    John

  3. So hot here in Georgia. Would love to win the tank top and the porch swing jelly roll. It’s way to hot to work in the garden but not too hot to work in the sewing room. Thanks for all you do to make quilting so exciting.

  4. My summer plans include quilting of course. Also my daughter will be coming down from Virginia for a visit. She loves tank tops so winning one would be perfect. She can watch me quilt with your 2.5” strips wearing it 😁

  5. Summer plans include keeping the garden and flower beds weed free. As for quilting, I am slowly getting my new sewing room set up. Sorting the fabric I have collected over the years and putting it in order. I moved from a 10×12 room which also had my long arm in it to a 16×28 with a bank of windows on one side and a large one in front of my machine. It is awesome to go sew now… more quilting projects going on than I can finish this summer I am sure.

  6. Hi Pat, My Summer plans are to visit my new granddaughter( and her big Sister and parents) in Denver. I am also going to a local quilt show and a Shop Hop adventure in a few weeks.

  7. OH YES, Summer! I already did a week quilt retreat with a friend and my daughter. It was spectacular as my daughter is a beginner quilter and it was so heartwarming to see her absorbing our instructions and tips and just plain falling in love with her quilting passion.
I now plan to open all the windows on such nice fresh sunny days and stitch every day until the cows come home!

  8. My summer plans include spending time with our family, reading a few good books, staying cool in this Texas heat and working on projects that are inspired by watching your daily videos! I love the Firecracker T-shirt and Porch Swing Jelly Roll. Thank you for your daily inspiration!! 🙂

  9. Our summer plans have already taken place. Our daughter and family from TX and VA came for a weeks visit then we followed all to TX for a week to see them off to a 3 year stay in Hawaii for the military. We just got back home to IA Friday. What a bittersweet time.

  10. Hi Pat! We recently moved to Missouri and have been working on the house nonstop but now it’s summer we will be biking, kayaking, and camping. Enjoy your summer!

  13. My summer plans? Let’s see, first spend time at the coast. Love love the ocean and sunshine. Second spend some me time, painting our shed outback and some long overdue yard care. Third get out the BBQ and firepit. Spend time with family, laughing and grilling and roasting marshmallows.

  18. Was planning on going to visit a long-time friend who lives about 4 1/2 hours away but my cat was attacked on our porch by a dog not on the leash & now we’re dealing with her recovery 🙁 Will try to get some sewing done.

  19. We have rented a beach house and will attend my grandson’s wedding on the weekend. I plan to take some hand stitching to enjoy while on the beach.

  20. Good morning, Pat. This summer I plan to travel to Eureka, Montana (up by Glacier National Park) to attend an outdoor quilt show. My husband is busy haying, so I can spend my days down in the cool basement in my sewing room. I hope to catch up on all of my sew-alongs. You have been doing so many cute ones and I want to do them all!

  21. I will be making baby quilts for our local hospital NICU . Thanks for all you do!

  22. WOW, a fabric give away!! My summer plans are to visit family in Michigan. I can’t wait to see them.

  23. Pat, I would love to win the shirt and fabric. My summer plans came to a giant halt on Memorial Day when I fell and broke my elbow! Surgery was required and I now have 7 pins and a plate in my elbow! So no sewing for me for at least 8 weeks!! I am just enjoying seeing what everyone else is doing!

  24. We just finished a two month road trip in our camper and a fishing trip to Canada which was amazing. The rest of the summer will be staying indoors to keep out of the extreme heat, track hurricanes in case we need to evacuate, and catch up on some house projects and my big want to sew bucket list.

  25. My summer plans do not include travel plans.I wish to stay in,stay cool, and quilt.I will be shopping for fabric though and celebrating my birthday on July 8th and my 56th wedding anniversary on the 18th of July.
Want to shout out a Thank you, Pat for all you do for the quilting community

  26. Our summers usually consist of going to local festivals, concerts, garden walks, etc. Also golfing! And quilting!!

  28. My summer plans are sewing, trying to stay cool, working at our local quilt show and eye surgery.

  29. We will be heading to Missoula Montana for a family wedding. Heading first to Hill City SD to do tourist stops. Stopping in at Confident Stitch to shop and say Pat sent me!!!
Then on to Glacier National Park for four days, down to Yellowstone, Tetons, Jackson Hole and home.. so no machine sewing but taking plenty of handwork projects to do along the way!

  30. Our summer plans are short little trips for 4 days or less. We have already taken a beach getaway to Galveston. Next up is probably a road trip to Tulsa. I also want to see my oldest son and his family (i.e. grands) and see my sister. Living in Amarillo, Texas means all trips involve quite a distance. LOL

  31. I plan to see a concert by one of my new favorite bands, Tophouse, and spend time with my brother. We are going to a Major League Baseball game and one of the state fairs on the opening weekend of the fair.

  32. I’ll be spending time with kids and grandkids as well as camping with friends. Will also be walking the beach a lot, enjoying the summer days.

  33. My summer plans are to work on getting my sew-jo back. It seems I’ve lost it and not sure where it is. But I’m not ready to give up on finding it. Maybe reorganizing my sewing space would help. Thanks for your great videos.

  34. I don’t have any summer plans since I justed back to work 3 days a week of course which is all weekend nights. So I will sew & sew using all my fabrics.

  35. My summer plans are to make and complete (quilt) as many quilts as I can this summer. I already have several tops made that just need quilting. The quilts will be my Christmas gifts. I have a huge stash that just needs used!!! I can’t take the heat anymore so I won’t be out in it. I hope you have a wonderful summer Pat!

  40. My plans keep changing.. now get over covid first, do some gardening and maintenance of plants, enjoy the pool with friends and family and prioritize some needlework and quilting projects… so much to do!

  41. Summer time in the Arizona desert is hot. So my summer plan is to stay indoors and sew, sew, sew. I have a fabric challenge to plan and make, some fall decor projects I want to finish before fall, and make some clothes for my October Carribean cruise. This tee shirt would be perfect for our climate and my cruise. I really like porch swing colors.
