***Cozy Things is a Flimsy!***

Cozy Things has really kicked off something in me, looking for ways to make life cozy and looking to change things up. I'm thrilled with how it turned out and can't wait to have the flimsy (top) graduate to a full quilt!

  1. Mine is NOT done. I still have the final block to make and then put it all together. I do have the setting blocks made so all I need to do once I get the final block done is sew them all together. I’m having an issue with the final block. I am making mine like yours but several blocks back I made a cutting error and so used one of the layer cakes instead of the one you used to cut my new blocks. Sure enough you used that same print in this last and final block. I knew that would happen. Of course it would! I don’t have enough of the black with the tiny white snowflake dots to make this final block. A conundrum for sure. Can’t decide what to do now because I have tried all of the other possibilities in the fabric I purchased to make this and even in some of the fabrics I have and nothing satisfies me. UGH! I may have to see if I can order more. I don’t think I can because I think it was one of the fabrics that I wanted to purchase extra of when I ordered everything to begin with and it was not available then. I want to FINISH this one. This is really the first sew-along I have done with you and I really did want to finish it up on time at the end!

  2. *I’m posting copies to your different platforms, so you’ll see this.*
Pat, Don’t put them off! 😁
I, too, get bored with doing one thing, but you can mix up the order and get them done.
Try this: Put tasks on slips of paper in a jar. Draw one at a time, until done.
Here’s another idea: Change the name of your printout to,
“Do You Wanna Build a Snow Plan?” ❄️⛄️🧵 😃
