This week I had so postpone the Summer Time block one week so I can meet other deadlines, BUT I have a challenge for you.. and it’s going to be fun!

Each week when I give you the block I also have shown you a diagram of how you can use the block in repeat
Sometimes with the setting frame, sometimes just the 9″ block.

My challenge is to pick one of the blocks and make something busting some stash!
Details below… and you can’t have a challenge with a little reward …

Aurifil is helping me out and is giving away this BOX of my Aurifil threads in all the pretty colors you love to one randomly selected project that is posted by May 31, 2018 at 6pm est!
If you want to see my yummy thread colors up close, CLICK and you can buy my box now if you don’t want to wait (wink!)
Random Number generator selected the WINNER – Carol with #2! you’ve been emailed
What do I do now?
- Find a link to all the blocks at my In The SummerTime project page
- Select a block (or 2) and create a project from one of my In the Summer Time blocks, with or without the setting frame.
- Any size project using 2 or more blocks.
- It can be JUST a top (but hey, go ahead and quilt it too!)

the summer time challenge is a stash buster for me so I do have a few favorite blocks so far and this new challenge sounds like it could use up a bit more of my stash, I’m in.

Just completing a Starry Rail Fence quilt from some leaf fabrics I’ve been collecting for 20 years. Guess I’ll have to grab another bin in the Winnow My Stash pile and choose a couple of blocks for another challenge. Thanks for keeping me busy.
Sounds like fun! I’m just like Raylene and Leslie, what’s one more project?
I had plans to do a donation quilt with the Reunion block with some fabric I recently found, plus some stash fabrics. Now I am motivated to move that project to the top of the list!
GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE! I AM WORKING ON GRANDMA’S kITCHEN AND AM NOT FOND OF THE ATTIC WINDOWS BLOCK, SO I AM GOING TO MAKE BLOCK #8 fAMILY REUNION FOR THE SPOT!
