What a beautiful kit. My favorite flower is a daisy. My late husband would send me daisies to my work every week. They always lasted to the next delivery!! Thanks Pat for your generosity.
I love all flowers, but hydrangeas are my favorite. My Grandma didn’t have any other bushes, but she had big blue hydrangeas in her yard. This Fig Tree quilt is adorable.
LILACS top the list. They are a wonderful memory of my childhood yard that was bordered by lilac bushes. Did you know that the colder the climate, the more fragrant the lilacs will be?
I’m not sure I have a favorite flower. I love them all! But, I do have a Black Eyed Susan doll that I got for Christmas as a child in the 60s. Her flower petal hat is missing, though, and I’ve been thinking of making a new one. So glad to still have her.
My favorite flower is Hydrangea. The blooms are so big and beautiful. Second I would have to say lilacs, they are so fragrant! Thanks so much for the earth day block. Blessings.

The Sunflower is my favorite flower. The bright yellow/gold color always represents happiness and brightness in my life.
Sunflowers. Not only because they make me smile as they follow the sun and seek the light, but also because they were my Moms favorite. She’s been gone for almost 30 years but the sight of a Sunflower brings back random memories of her.

My Favorite Flower is the Sunflower. I love it with their large blooms and the lovely seeds. I will be moving into a house instead of my apartment in the next 2 months and I plan on planting these gorgeous Flowers all along my fence in my new home. I am so excited. The bright colours of the sunflower are a sight to behold.

My favorite flower is alstromeria – the seem a bit wild and are amazingly beautiful – they last a long time! They were in my non traditional wedding bouquet and on the cake itself!

I love Rudbeckia because they grow wild and free and in the most unsuspected spaces, just need sunlight. There’s something beautiful about a flower that thrives on its own terms. 🌻
One of my favorite flowers are tulips. My mother loved them, I was fortunate enough to go to the tulips festival in Holland, and they certainly mean Spring after our long North Dakota winters.
My favorite flower is daffodils. Mainly because it is the 1st flower that comes up after winter. I cut and cut and bring as many as I can into house. But, husband fav is Black-Eyed Susan and I have never made him a quilt…..this maybe be a good one. Thank You.

My favorite flowers are Roses. Watching them unfurl into beautiful colors really shows us how wonderful nature is! Both of my Grandmothers were named Rose, as were 2 Aunts and my Daughter is Amanda Rose and my Sister was Marjorie Rose 🌹
Thank you for a chance to win the black-eyed Susan quilt. I love Morning Glory, which make me think of my late sister-in-law. We had a difficult relationship. I adored her and she was not so fond of me. I planted Morning Glory’s a couple of times and one year and when she returned from a vacation said she thought of me each morning as she went for her morning walk because the path was covered morning glories. We hadn’t spoke the last 15years of her life so every GOOD memory is what I choose to hold onto.
I like many flowers. Right now, irises are my favorite ( maybe because I hope to see them in my garden in the near future). They’re intricate, come in many colors and have a wonderful scent.
My favorite flower is the Lily of the Valley. I think that is has a lovely scent.
I have always been drawn to sunflowers. I just think they are so beautiful. I would love to have a field of them to look at and admire every day. The black eyed Susan’s is also a beautiful flower. If I was to win it I would make it for my daughter whose name is Susan. She would love it because everyone would say something about black eyed Susan when she was little to her. Would bring back a lot of special memories of her grandparents that are no longer with us.

My absolute favorite flower is coneflower. I leave the seed heads until Spring and enjoy watching the finches eat the seeds. Hope you feel better soon. We can and do do hard things. The passing years do indeed cause be to accept new limitations on activities and what I can consume. Thank goodness for quilting! I have had a long arm for 25 years and an hour or two a day is now my limit. Hand quilting might be faster but I guess provides its own physical challenges. Take care, love your show.

I love Carnations. My husband of 53 sent me pink Carnations quite often when we were dating. So very thoughtful and made me the envy of my college dorm. He continues today to occasionally surprise me with flowers. 🌺
