I buy Warm and Natural batting by the roll for my Quilts of Valor group as well as for my own quilts, so I am always watching prices and usually buy 3 rolls at a time, when budget allows.
I buy batting as I need it. I also usually try to keep one spare on hand in case I can’t get out to get any and need it quickly.
I stock a roll of the most common batting that I use. When I need a specialty batting like black or wool, I buy enough for that quilt from my local shop.
I usually buy as needed. I was raised to be frugal; hard to ignore my upbringing!
I just buy what I need…and watch for sales!
I buy stock, cheaper and running out of batting is a big no-no!
Thank you for the chance to win batting roll. And thank you for your channel. I’ve learned so much from you not just quilty related; how you assertively stand up to haters, joy for life, celebrating other quilters, mental color and pattern process, so much.
I have bolts of batting, packages of batting and pieces of batting. Lol. I do love the roll though. There’s something about seeing that big roll and dreaming of all the quilts to be made with it. Thank you Pat!
I keep a roll of 48″ for smaller projects, and buy as needed for bigger ones.
I usually just buy the batting I need and keep that with my “flimsy” of that size. Thanks for the chance to win and Happy Anniversary again.
I usually stock batting for future use.
Who can’t use batting!!!
Batting, batting, yes, yes, yes!!!
Thanks
I would love to win a roll of batting. Worm and natural is my my favorite.
I’ve been making quilts for my niece and my granddaughters – help! Have one King Size, one Queen Size, and two Twin Size. Running out of batting in Texas. lol Seriously, this 72yo grandmother can use the assistance to finish my 4 UFOs! God Bless!
I’ve purchased large pieces of Batting by the yard when I started. My 1st quilt was small, which left me with plenty for table toppers, practice pieces and ‘sew’ on 😉
Congratulations on your 10th anniversary. Thank you for the opportunity to win a roll of batting. A great way to keep me quilting all your wonderful projects. If I win I will have to finish all those UFOs.
I am now stocking batting, buying it by the roll.
Thank you for the chance to enter & win! I would love any batting so I can finish all my Pat’s lovely projects thank you.
We use a lot of batting! Thank you for your giveaways and the fun we have dreaming…..
I buy batting when I need it.
I buy batting as I use it, too expensive to stockpile!
I buy the batting I need but seem to end up with extra! I also piece the scraps together to make more.
I would love to win a roll of batting from the Warm Company
I buy the big tools of warm and natural
Ooops I forgot to answer.😁
I buy just what I need
Enter
I usually buy what I need but I have a scrap yard stacking up and I do need batting to finish quilts!
I usually buy batting for a project and then have extra strips laying around. I have been trying out the quilt as you go method which is nice for those extra left overs. This is a very nice give away! You are such a great encourager! Thanks so much for all you do. K-
a whole roll of batting is the ONLY way to go! the extras can be pieced together or cut into squares for QAYG blocks <3 Thank you, Pat, for all that you do!
Hi Pat!
So glad you reminded me to enter for this Giveaway today!
I stock batting. Usually try to get several yards on sale! I am running low, now, though!
Need to get some tops layered so can quilt while it’s cool! Help!😊
A roll of batting would be wonderful! I am just learning how to quilt and would love to add this to my stash!!
I buy Warm and Natural batting by the bolt.
I have some sizes of batting in stock. I like to buy it when on sale
I have picked up batting at estate sales or been given some from friends who aren’t sewing anymore, so I have some on hand. I am just learning the difference between the types of batting, particularly cotton batting (with or w/o scrim) verses others. Now that I know more, in the last year I have gone through soooo much batting! I feel like I am buying more cotton batting every month!!
I buy batting as I need it. But, I would really, really love to have a whole roll of batting. Hope I win!
I try to keep batting stocked. I like to buy it in rolls because I use a lot making baby quilts and smaller quilted items😀
I keep some batting in hand but would love to have a whole bolt!
I don’t usually stockpile batting. I usually buy what I need but I am not opposed to starting a stockpile. LOL I do keep any left over pieces that are big enough to turn into a wall hanging, mug rugs, or other smaller type projects.
I seem to be stocking up on batting because I’ve purchased packages of batting for projects that are WIP’s and bought extra while batting was on sale. So batting is laying there waiting to be put into the quilts it was intended for.
I used to buy for each project, but now I buy batting when it’s on sale and keep it stocked.
I like to have enough on hand to cover my current projects with a little extra so am ready for those last minute ones!
Happy Anniversary Pat! I buy batting in advance, by the roll. I
I would love to win the role of batting. I am running low my role is almost gone.
I keep a roll of batting and several packages of different colors and sizes for future quilt projects. I find it easier to match up the size of batting needed from a package so I don’t have to trim off much waste. I did once have to order black batting for a quilt with a black background.
Some projects are finished late at night and I quilt my own so this way I can finish them up! 😊
I buy Warm and Natural by the 90″ x 40 ft roll. Always have a full roll on hand. My favorite by far!
Never enough batting!!!
I try to keep batting on hand but also sometimes need to purchase for a larger project. I buy Warm batting in pre-cut larger sizes and cut off as needed.
I love to always have batting available for my projects.
