  1. I always stock batting…one roll 80/20, several queen of different kinds. BTW, my roll is about gone hint, hint :)!

  2. I definitely STOCK batting, usually an 80/20 roll and several queen size packages of different kinds. More economical and I know I’ll always have what I need, no matter the project. BTW, my roll is almost to the end, hint hint!

  3. I just LOVE the Warm company batting. Warm and White is my favorite. I try to buy it on sale when I notice it However I do not stock very much because of my limited storage. I would absolutely love to have a roll. Thank you, Pat, for all you contribute to the quilting community. I have learned SEW much from watching you on YouTube. Congratulations on your 10-year milestone.

  4. I would love to win a bolt of batting!!! I usually buy it according to size of quilt I am making but love Warm batting. I keep batting on hand so I am ready to quilt as soon as my top is complete. So having a bolt would be perfect.

  5. I love warm and White batting, it is what I usually use. I buy batting on sale and if I have the funds I will buy for two or three quilts at a time, even though I only need batting for one quilt.

  6. I tend to buy a small amount – sometimes I like to try a different batting or a different blend
Thanks for all you do and share !

  7. Hi Pat!
Thank You! For your delightful videos and teaching and inspiration and……. I could go on and on. Bottom line is that I as a beginner quilter love your work
Batting, I keep a roll, so that seems to be called stocking it up. I use Warm Company because so many family members and friends recommended it. So far I’ve made 4 quilts and lots of table runners, placemats and mug rugs using it.
Keep up your enthusiasm, it’s contagious ❤️

  8. I used to buy batting as needed but quickly discovered that having a huge roll was much more efficient. I wait for a sale. It will last me almost two years.

  9. I use nothing but Warm Company batting. I buy just what I need and when it is on sale. Recently purchased 5 yards of 128 inch wide for 3 quilts.

  10. I stock batting. I never know when I am going to quilt my projects,so I like to have plenty whenever I decide today is the day!

  11. I use only Warm and White on my quilts and you’ve inspired me to move my quilts along and get those tops finished. So far I’ve done 2 since January 1. You’re such an inspiration! Thank you Pat for all you do and to the hubby for his support of what you dp!

  12. Most of the time, I buy batting on sale in manageable chunks. That means 5 yards or so. I just bought a roll, so I am super excited about that. I also buy pre-measured packages.

  13. Can always use batting, I make a lot of quilts for Charity, as well as my very large family (17 GGC).

  14. I usually buy batting as I need it, buying only a little extra. Definitely important to spend the time in choosing which type of batting for each project as it makes a difference when I am ready to quilt it altogether.

  15. By the roll is my favorite way for most of my batting. I’m lucky enough to store it at my daughter-in-law’s who is also my long armer.😊 Thanks for the chance to win!

  16. I was spoiled by my first roll of batting – it was so much easier to cut off what I needed instead of running to the store to get a particular size for the quilt I was making. The left-overs turn into placemats and table runners. Would love to win.

  17. Buy batting as i need . Would love to have a bunch on hand. Thanks for the idea for “sewing” pieces together. Great to use scraps up!!!!
    Rhonda

  18. I keep at least one roll of cotton batting and one of bamboo or polyester. Buying by the roll saves a lot of money, and it’s easier to store than individual packages of the same amount. Our charity quilting group can barely afford batting by the roll.

  19. I buy batting when I need it. Can’t afford extra. Would be nice to win a roll. Thank-you for doing this and Thank-you sponsors for donating these prizes.

  20. I would love love to have the batting. I do lots of charity quilts and placemats and the batting would sure help with the cost of making these items. I use the quilt as you go method to quilt my items so that saves me from having someone else quilt them for me. So please pick me to get the Free Batting

  21. Congratulations on your 10th anniversary. I’ve been watching, enjoying and learning lots of new ideas. Winning a bolt of batting would be wonderful I’m making some quilts for high school classmates that were in the Vietnam era, they are trying to heal and need a hug.

  22. I’ve purchased batting for a specific project and by the bolt. It’s very convenient to have a bolt available and it saves money over time. Buying for a specific project is a good way to try different types of batting without the expense of a whole bolt.

  23. I used to always have a few rolls of batting on hand. I don’t really have the room for this. So, my Longarm quilter offers the batting at her cost!!!So it’s a win, win for me! No need to stock up!!

  24. I buy batting when there is a sale or use a coupon. I buy a few yards just in case but have never bought a whole roll!!
What I have I keep rolled and it stands in a basket in the corner of my room.

  25. I buy batting as I need it, and sew scraps into bigger pieces when necessary. Since I sew everything from bags to table and kitchen projects to queen size quilts, I have lots of ways to use scrap batting. While all of that is true, I don’t like piecing batting for the twin to queen size quilts very much. I’d love a roll of batting to get away from that. Although that’s a lot of batting. I have some quilting friends I can share this with.

  26. I like to keep some batting on hand. I have purchased packaged sizes, by the yard, and by the roll. Whatever is the best deal, is what is best for my budget.

  27. I try to have batting on hand. I bought a small longarm this past year so I would love to have a roll to use.

  28. I buy batting as needed (when on sale). The quilts “Spa Time” waits until I can find Warm & Natural on sale. It’s a budget thing & It’s the only brand I enjoy using 😊

  29. I buy batting both ways; packaged for sizes for correct width and length or by the roll. I just finished my last roll so winning this would be a blessing. I make lots of quilts for the hospital I was a pediatric nurse at.

  30. I try to keep batting stocked up when I can purchase it on sale. However, I usually buy it as I need it. Thanks

  31. I have a few small pkgs. of batting in various sizes that I have found as I was cleaning out my sewing space. I will use them up on next few quilts that I make. A roll of batting would be wonderful.
