  1. I generally don’t buy batting ahead of time, unless I come upon a really good sale. And I try to make frankenbatting for small projects when I can.

  2. I have never had a full roll of batting. But wouldn’t that be awesome!! Not to worry about going to the store or ordering online the size of batting that you needed. Wow! I’m overwhelmed. That would be so great. Thanks again for being one o Pats sponsors. Sure do love our Pat Sloan.

  3. Wow!. This is extremely generous of the Warm Company. I would love to win a roll of Warm batting Thank you Warm Company for support Pat Sloan! We love you both.

  4. I stock batting when it is on sale and I have some idea what size I will use. Because the next couple of quilts are queen size, I bought several king size battings on sale.

  5. I try to buy it by the bag… usually queen size. That is the largest size quilt I have made… and I try to keep one on hand to cut up for smaller quilts such as wallhangings and baby size quilts! I love the Breakfast Quilt you are working on now!! I’ll need some batting for it!! Hugs…

  6. I generally get batting when I need it. However, if there is a good deal I have been known to go ahead and buy a package of the size I usually use knowing it will be used soon

  7. I usually purchase batting when I need it, but I would love to have a roll of Warm batting available. It is one of my favorites. Thanks so much Pat and the Warm Company.

  8. I buy batting by the roll as my projects are all different sizes from table toppers to wall hangings to lap throws to bed sizes quilts. I would love to win a roll of batting as my current roll is getting small!! 🙂

  9. I buy Warm and White or Natural when it’s on sale. I usually have 2 or 3 in my stash at all times. I have also purchased batting from the long arm quilters I use.

  10. I found the comment box!
I prefer neutral shades of Auafil thread. I especially like this thread for piecing because it doesn’t take up too much room when pressing seams to the side.

  11. I buy batting when it’s on sale and keep it handy for when it’s needed. Right now I am getting a little low on my stash.

  12. Sometimes I have a stash of batting on hand and sometimes I don’t 🙂 I try to watch for it on sale.

  13. I have not purchased a bolt of batting as of yet since I am still a newer quilter…but would love it! I’ve been buying smaller quantities to check out different types. Thank you, Pat, for these giveaway opportunities! 👍❤️

  14. I don’t do either. I “buy” my batting from my long-arm quilter. She has it on a roll, so she only uses what is needed for each quilt. So, I don’t buy batting directly and using what my long-arm quilter has reduces left-over pieces of batting.
Having a roll of batting donated would be great for quilts I donate to a nearby residential ranch for at-risk boys and for Quilts of Valor.

  15. As a prolific charity quilter I find that fabric donated by the ton but batting is as scarce as hens teeth! This would be a wonderful prize!

  16. I usually buy batting as needed but if I were to win that roll of batting, I could start quilting the four quilts that have been waiting their turn. Thank you Pat!

  17. I usually buy just for the project I’m ready for, but there have been times I wish I had extra on hand. It’s just so fluffy and takes up space.

  18. I haven’t bought a whole row of batting yet. I buy it for the size quilt I am making. It is probably more economical to buy it in a roll. I’d love to get picked for this one. I love the warm and natural 100% cotton batting. It is my favorite. Thanks for all you do for us, Pat. You are special.

  19. I like to buy batting by the project, because a whole roll always seems expensive. Thank you to the Warm Company for their generous gift.
    I hope I win!

  20. I usually buy batting when it’s on sale, but I also like to support my local quilt shop, so if I want a specific batting like bamboo, I’ll buy it there. Another year means more Pat Sloan-inspired quilts, so batting is always needed! Thanks for all you do, you’re a star.

  21. I usually have a bolt of 80/20 that I use for community and QOV quilts. Then if I want a special batting for a project, like bamboo or wool, I usually buy the package.

  22. I mostly buy batting as I need it, but I need to keep a stock of it on hand! I am learning how to quilt on a longarm machine and an entire roll would definitely be useful as I have several quilt tops that need to be quilted!

  23. I usually have enough batting on hand so I can complete a couple projects without running out to buy some. I buy when it’s on sale. It would be so awesome to win a whole roll.

  24. I would prefer to purchase batting by the bolt, and I do if there is a really good sale. Usually, though, I buy just what I need at the time.

  25. I am on a fixed income like im sure a lot of use are . So I buy when on sale and usually enough to do just a few projects . I always buy Warm and Natural . Its my favorite batting

  26. I love batting from the Warm company. I have gotten it on a roll before. I love these breakfast blocks and am excited to make them!
