  1. I have a small amount of batting on hand for small projects but do not stock for large hangings or tops. I am new to quilting and usually have my long armer supply the batting. I would LOVE to have a whole bolt on hand! Thank you so much for all your tips and tricks and sharing your thought processes. They have helped me so much this first year.

  2. I try to buy the batting and the fabric for a project at the same time, but if there is a sale on batting, I will stock up if my budget allows. Of course, if I had a roll of batting, there would be no issue!

  3. Hello, I normally but warm and white in packages. bought another brand buy the roll not to happy I will go back to warm and white

  4. Hi all, I always keep one bag of batting ahead so I have it I keep my spare pieces also, which have become very handy.

  5. When it goes on sale, I buy3-4 of whatever sizes I think I’m going to need over the next few months.

  6. I purchase batting when I can find a good sale! Always have a few extra packs on hand. I would greatly appreciate a roll to have available to use for incubator covers to donate to a local NICU!

  7. Hi Pat, I stock up on my batting when it is on sale at my local JoAnn’s store. I have tubs in my sewing room closet that I try to keep 3 of each size—crib, twin, full, queen. Then I measure and label my cutaway larger scrap pcs. for table runners and pillows and store them in a large tote bag. I have never bought it buy the bolt since I really don’t have the space to store it.

  8. I buy batting when it is on sale and have it ready for my next project.
I would love to have a roll to use for my charity quilts.
Love all your tips, QAL, and patterns. Thank you so much!!

  9. Hi Pat, thanks for this opportunity. I love your quilts. I store batting, I have mine in a closet and a roll with my long arm. I would love a new roll.

  10. I stock a few precut batting of frequently used sizes but would love to have a whole roll of batting. What a treat that would be to know I have batting available since with a roll you can cut just what you need for several sizes of quilts. Thank you so much for this opportunity and thanks for all you do Pat. Happy 10th anniversary ! I look forward to your YouTube videos, QAL and your sense of humor. Thanks

  11. Pat,
I just buy what I need for batting. If there’s an awesome deal on batting then I would try to stock up on battting.

  12. I buy batting by the roll as every quilt i make is for charity. I sew for The Sheriffs Ranches of Florida. Please enter me in the drawing. Thank you for all your patterns!

  13. BATTING!! i have to order some because i have made 30 quilts and the need batting and backing. your show gives me a way to make more. I am trying to use up what i have before buying more fabric Thank you for what you do.

  14. I try to keep batting stocked up, but sometimes run low and have to buy a particular piece. My quilt group makes quilts for children in the foster system and for cancer patients. It would be wonderful to have enough batting to share more for these projects!

  15. My local quilt shop sells the batting in quilt sizes and I buy a couple of those to have on hand. I have never used The Warm Company batting. Thank you for the opportunity to win a whole roll! Fingers crossed!!

  16. I’ve stocked up on some batting but have also made a few last minute trips to the store to purchase batting. My own roll at home would be awesome!

  17. I would like to win, I make quilts and run out of thread all the time. I would like to try Artful thread never tired it. your show makes me want to quilt all the time.

  18. I do a bit of both. I have different sizes of purchased batting ready for use, but often of course I don’t have the size I need so I purchase it then from my local quilt store. Thanks for this great chance!

  19. How wonderful that the Warm Company is celebrating with you!
I like to have batting on hand and purchase for special quilts. For my daughter’s king-size wedding quilt, I bought white batting especially for it.

  20. I usually buy a couple pkgs of batting in the quilt size when it is on sale or I have a coupon. I sew it together if I don’t have enough for a project or go out for more

  21. I watch the sales for crib and throw size battings to keep a few “in stock”. Now that I’m semi-retired, I have to watch the wallet.

  22. I have a small amount on hand; I usually just buy what I need for whatever particular project I’m working on, especially since I use different types of batting. But batting becomes expensive, so winning some would be wonderful!

  23. I quilt a lot for charity and myself so I have rolls of batting from poly to cotton. I just stocked up before year end. This is not normal for me, but it is hard to buy just as you need it.

  24. I buy batting as I need it unless I find a deal…then I go ahead and buy…who wouldn’t. Quilters dream select and Hobbs are the two that I have currently used. And yes, I have also used ‘frankenbatting’!
