  1. “Do you stock batting or buy just what you need?” I generally buy just what I need in batting, but how great it would be to have a roll of batting available to use in my stash! Love your videos.

  2. Oh boy do I stock batting! I have a roll that I am currently working from and I have about 20 packages of assorted sizes and types of batting. 😊 thanks for the giveaway

  3. Hi Pat! Another great video – I’m working my way up to doing appliqué! This is a need to try in 2024 for me. So, thanks so much for this series!! AND, of course, I’d love to win some batting!!!

  4. I do stock batting. I like to have it on hand when I need it. I would love to win this! Congratulations on your anniversary!

  5. The Breakfast Club Quilt looks like so much fun! Wish I didn’t have so many other projects I am working on right now! I am saving the patterns for the future. I really love all that you share with us. I make your video part of my morning routine. Thank you, Thank you!

  6. I buy batting when it’s on sale and try to keep a package or two ahead. I have considered buying by the roll but am not sure yet.

  7. Hi Pat, I buy batting 2 or 3 at a time, hopefully when on sale. Just got some at Joann yesterday. It’s so darn expensive now but my tops are worth it!!! 🥰🥰🥰
    Congrats on 10 years!!!🎉🎉🎉 that’s a lot of quilts!! ❤️❤️❤️
    More lessons for me!!!

  8. I have some, but not enough for a quilt.
I use every spare piece for small projects.
    Batting is expensive!!

  9. I usually have some batting in stock, but never warm and white. I’m always in need of white batting!

  10. I just buy the batting I need and sew together pieces to use with small projects. Would love to try the just cut the needed batting of the roll method!!!!

  11. I have different size battings on hand ( usually ) but in a pinch I have cut down a King size to finish a baby quilt – a roll would be smarter !!

  12. I only keep on hand what I will need for completing upcoming quilts. But Lately I have been frankenbatting the leftover odd pieces of batting to use so there is less waste. I save smaller pieces for place mats or runners. I would love to win a roll of batting, as I have many tops waiting to be quilted!

  13. I only stock batting for small projects such as wall hangings. On large projects, my long-armer provides the batting. Thanks!

  14. Hey Pat,
I buy batting as I need it which is pretty often. Lately I have been taking to making my quilts and then donating them to my local DJS for kids who have to be relocated to foster homes and can take the quilts with them. It’s my way of feeding my passion of sewing, but also helping out the kids who I work closely with in the community but anonymously. I probably should start buying batting by the bolt, but it’s a lot of money up front.

  15. Thank you for your daily videos, Pat. I appreciate your positivity and your expertise. I’m inspired by all your projects. You are just amazing. Such a generous soul.

  16. I do keep a couple of battings on hand for when I want to hand baste and machine quilt a project. I also keep the bigger pieces from trimming my quilts when they come back from the spa and use those for smaller projects, as my teacher (Pat) taught me.

  17. I have been sewing my leftover batting together for the last four quilts I’ve made. I would love to register for a roll of batting so I don’t have to use Frankenstein batting. Thanks so much for all you do for us, Pat!

  18. I try to buy batting on sale and always have some on hand for whatever project I might decide is SOOO cute and I need to do it right now!

  19. I’ve got a small stash of batting — maybe 3-4 of my favorites, and a couple of extras that have been “gifted” to me. And I’ve always got batting pieces I can “tape” together for smaller quilts. A roll would be fab!

  20. A roll would be so much better than the package sizes I have 3 quilts ready for quilting at this very minute.

  21. I usually buy batting by the roll. I just ran out of my white roll. I would love to win a roll of batting. Thanks for your giggle. It makes me smile every time.

  22. I have both stocked batting and bought by the project during my quilting journey. Getting a whole bolt is a wonderful prize!

  23. I stock batting, not a full roll.I buy multiple yards of the widest available until that “stash” is used up. Warm and Natural is preferred. I might buy a special piece,I.e. king size will blend for a special need.

  24. I try to keep batting on hand by buying from the bolt but have also bought packages when doing a lap size quilt which would be closer to the size package. I would love to win this wonderful batting….. Happy Anniversary Pat.

  25. I have a bolt of batting that is big enough for most quilts. When I have a quilt that is larger, I will buy batting for that quilt. I prefer not to piece batting for king size quilts.

  26. Batting is an expense so when I see a good deal I jump on it. Unfortunately sometimes I don’t read the type of batting. That only happened once….I used to buy as I go but then projects always popped up and during the main Covid pandemic the Joanne store in my town had a limited supply. So yes I try and stock up. Warm is one of my favorites to use. Very generous way for them to help you celebrate your 10 yr anniversary on You Tube. You do inspire us.
