  1. I buy batting as needed now or piece what I have. About 20 years ago, I ordered a case of batting material through our quilt guild. I finished using it in 2020 during covid. My large quilts I send out and my quilter provides the batting.

  2. Hi. I buy batting as I need it right now. But I do have small pieces I use for little projects on hand.

  3. I like to have batting on hand, however, since we moved to a rural mountain area it is not so easy to go shopping for fabric, batting supplies. I know I can order online, but I like to touch what I am buying. Thank you for making all of the great videos available for us.

  4. I buy Warm & Natural by the bolt so I have it on hand, but buy the Warm & White as I need it. Only kind of batting I’ve ever used.

  5. I buy it ahead in packages by size and try to keep one of each size on hand all the time. Maybe it is time I bought it on a roll and got rid of all the packages!

  6. I would love to have batting on hand. I usually can only buy when on sale so to have on hand would enable me to finish more quilts. I like to give my quilts away do i could get more gifts done.

  7. I usually just buy my batting as I need it but lately when I see it on sale I have bought a little extra to have on hand.

  8. Would be so great to win the roll of batting I don’t store batting but having a roll to work from would be a great motivator to get all my flimsiest finished into quilts to pass on ;))

  9. I like to keep batting stocked up, but I also keep leftover batting pieces to use for small projects. I try to buy batting when it is on sale, and I do enough quilting so having batting on hand is a blessing. It would be nice to have a whole bolt of batting to use for some projects that are in the near future.

  10. I buy batting by the roll (on sale!) because it’s cheapest that way if you finish a lot of quilts. I’m on my second bolt.

  11. The only batting I keep on hand is the wrap n zap for all the microwave bowl cozies I make for our Ladies Guild at my church to sell. Otherwise I buy as needed. Would be nice to have a roll on hand!

  12. I have a small roll left of batting. I also have a few packages. I like the roll best as I can get more out of it and less waste!

  13. I try to buy packages when they’re on sale and then I have one when I need it. I also keep every scrap and use them sewing them together or using them for crafts. It’s hard to waste it when it’s so darned expensive to me. It would be so wonderful to win a roll!!

  14. I usually buy my batting by the roll either at Joanna or Amazon. This way I always have what I need on hand so I would love to win a bolt!!

  15. I think I really do both. I have purchased a bolt of 90 inch batting for most of my quilts but occasionally I have a king size quilt that needs a larger size so I purchase the king size package.

  16. I just buy what I need. I’ve started doing quilt as you go to use up some of the leftover. Winning a roll would be fantastic I’d share it with my Project Linus group.

  17. I love watching your videos. I print your patterns however, I must admit I am having trouble keeping up with all I want to do.

  18. I buy batting whenever I can find it on sale. Bagged mostly and always buy the same kind that way I can piece it together when needed.
I like it on a roll, that way I can cut off just what I need and
not so wasteful. I sure could use a roll!!

  19. I love to creative process of making quilts, but it is an expensive process. My flimsy collection far exceeds my quilt collection. Having a roll of batting would help move some along. Thank you – Pat Sloan and The Warm Company for this opportunity. Again, Congratulations on your 10 years!

  20. I used to keep a roll of batting but when my friend that does my longarming ran out I gave it to her. But now I have my own short/longarm so would dearly love a roll

  21. I have my batting on a pole inserted in a disassembled rolling chair base. Son made a wooden platform for it to rest on evenly. Roll it anywhere I need it and out of the way.

  22. I buy what I need most of the time. I might have a couple of small wrap and zaps hanging around. But that’s it. Oh and of course a bag of scraps because I just can’t seem to pitch them!

  23. I usually have two or three packages of batting on hand. I try to buy it on sale if possible. A whole role would be awesome!

  24. I bought several ROLLS of 80/20 batting a number of years ago when at some machine quilter’s conventions. PLUS I ordered 15 yard bolts of a number of different kinds of batting over the years. I’m STILL using that. And I make Frankenbatts from all the leftovers or use things in smaller projects. I’m always on the lookout for a good deal on wool batting because that is what I use for my personal quilts

  25. I would love a roll of batting. Right now I only purchase when I can get it on sale or I have a coupon and stock up. I have only used the Warm Company and love the quality of the batting.

  26. I do stock some batting for small projects and up to twin size for larger size like king I have my quilt supply it.

  27. I do buy batting by the roll I buy what I can afford at the time. Never have I been able to get Warms wonderful batting would love to win.

  28. As I have gotten older, I buy batting when I need it. But I would love to have another roll so I could use it as I need it and not have to wait for a sale.
