First up is a Block a Month (BOM) which follows behind the last 5 BOM’s that I’ve hosted… is…
Out of This World!
I was inspired by the fabric to design a our 2019 Mystery BOM quilt with a fun Spacey theme.
Each block will a topic related to space things… such as .. watching man land on the moon, space age tv shows, how about space toys? The Space shuttle.. there are so many things that we all have loved about space! And we have GREAT memories to pull from. My quilts tell a story, and you add your stories to make it your own.
- I’ve designed the whole quilt and I LOVE it so much, hope you will to.
- The mystery runs for 10 months, Jan to Oct. And like always, I give you the setting a few months in so you can work your blocks into it.
- All patchwork
And you don’t need to be space crazy to enjoy this, it’s a super cool quilt with darling fabric and a fun way to sew together. ALL quilters can do that!
I am so happy that you can buy a kit of what I’m using if you like, same fabrics, so it makes it just to just Cut & Sew!

I am so inspired by flowers. It’s one of the main reasons I am a quilter, so I can create quilt gardens with gorgeous fabric.
From January to May we’ll make a Flower Bouquet! Kind of rhymes right?
The blocks are very easy traditional pieced blocks. The block name is based on flower and gardening tips. You don’t need to be a gardener to enjoy this. You just need to be a quilter inspired by beautiful things. This is really going to be a fun one as the fabrics are so gorgeous I’m working with, we may even forget it’s winter, wink!

I have my kit for the Flower Bouquet sew along and can’t wait to start. Thank you for doing all the hard work in fabric selection. I wanted something soothing to do and this is the perfect fit for me. The fabrics are amazing. Not my usual colors and I love that.
