  1. First Block, used the Gemini. I like how it cuts, but the block came out 11 inches. Not sure what went wrong there.

  2. Thanks for this “Sewalong”, Pat! I do appreciate your patterns and clear instructions. Your weekly block patterns will keep me on task and more organized with my quilting time. Thank you sew much for all you do to encourage and teach quilters like me not to be afraid to try different designs/techniques. I can’t wait for the arrival of my Crafter’s Companion Gemini. I’m sure it will help me create blocks with more accurate measurements. (My unfinished block 1 posted here #82 measures 12.25 inches. Wonder if I should do over???)

  3. Hi Pat, I ordered the Crafters Companion weeks ago using your link for the discount. I have heard nothing from them and a phone call has a recording that says they are moving. Maybe you know something since you have the special price? I am looking forward to the sea along using the companion tool. Thanks so much.

  4. Dear Pat,
Thank you so much for having the 20% discount on Oliso irons! My first Oliso iron decided to quit right before my daughter’s wedding the middle of September. I had that iron for a long time and I loved it! So with Christmas money from my dad I decided to take the leap and purchase another one. Having the 20% discount was a real help to this purchase!!
    Thanks again for the offer!

  5. oh Gosh, Still traveling with my work- I am hope maybe one week end a month! I have the most gorgeous fabric for this quilt (at home! grrrr)… I will be using a bit of my camper storage stash for the first block, see if I like it and make up my mind then. I enjoy the challenges, and improvising leads to unexpected surprises! Have a blessed day and thank you for sharing your enthusiasm!

  6. I am.loving your sew alongside, fireside chat, tutorials etc! I have completed block one and trying to upload my photo, but it says it is too large. I dont know how to fix that, but would love a chance for the planner.Help please!!

  7. all this is great. Pat love your post, and all the new things going on… Busy busy busy!! Kristy Wilkinson thanks for the info on the Go! cutter. that helps alot. appreciate it!

  8. I’ve been fighting a bad cold for a couple weeks but finally finished block 1 love seeing the different fabrics everyone is using. I realy enjoy the doing the sew along thanks Pat

  9. I love doing your BOM and BOW with you. I have done several of them. They are so much fun. I’m not the best at putting fabrics together but I am learning alot just by following you and other quilters. I love seeing the blocks as others make them. Thank you for making this so enjoyable.I have been making quilts for about three years. Looking forward to the next blocks.

  10. This is my first sew along with you Pat and this is going to be fun. The title of the sew along, Flower Bouquet, spoke to me as I love to garden.

  11. I use to get the seed catalogs all the time! I still have a couple that help me with layouts of my gardens, mainly what will do well in sun, shade, etc… I also got a new water fountain to put in the garden off my front porch for Christmas, so that garden’s getting a redo!

  12. Hi Pat I sent an email but wanted to follow up with this comment. I want to do the Flower Bouquet but when I pull up the supply list it shows the fabrics as a kit to order but I want to use my own fabrics. There are no yardages shown for fabrics. Is there a glitch in the supply list or do I have to use the fabric kit?
Please let me know what is up.
    Thanks
    Linda McCoy

  13. Pat, I just got my fabric kit today. I am using the same fabrics as you. I have a question. Did you wash your fabric before using?
Thank you for these sew alongs. This is my second one to do. Merry and Bright was my first and I love my finished quilt.
