My favorite dessert is Carrot Cake. I love the spices and all the flavors!
So many sweets to choose from! But if it’s for after dinner, then I go for something minty to clear my mouth of all the dinner flavors left over. So I love a small cup of mint choc. chip ice cream. Or if that isn’t available, choc. mint cookies like girl scouts. I found comparable type in Walmart.
My husband has become quite the sweet eater in his senior years. So I have to have a supply of some type of cookie, brownie, etc for him daily. I’ll be making your sugar cookie recipe for him next.
I have soooo many favorites but TURTLE CAKE wins no ifs ands or buts!!!!
Triple chocolate brownies with chocolate butter frosting. A little taste goes a long way, but so worth it!!
I love anything sweet after a meal but I am trying to cut back so my new go-to is a life saver. Crazy I know but it works for me. I can still get things done while sucking on it instead of sitting down to eat. I just sew and suck away!
My favorite dessert is probably pie of some kind which I rarely have – a cookie will do most of the time. I definitely love dessert.

I really have never met a dessert I didn’t like. But my all time favorite is my grandmother’s coconut pound cake made with fresh coconut.
We seldom have dessert but when we do we love cheesecake. My favourite dessert is Pavlova. Light and sweet.
I like no bake cookies – the oats and chocolate ones. Its amazes me how all the sugar and a little milk and cocoa powder turn into a chocolate goodness to mix with oats and peanut butter.
My favorite dessert is either a really good Chocolate cake with yummy frosting or Chocolate chip oatmeal caramel bars. So hard to choose 🙂

My favorite dessert is what I call a “pity brownie”. It is really a brownie chocolate chip cookie bar. It was named by my daughter, because I would get them when having a tough day at work, and I would talk about having a pity party. So now if I need a pick me up, she sends me some.
My favorite dessert, if I am having dessert (which isn’t often), is a good homemade chocolate chip cookie. I used to LOVE ice cream, but it bothers my stomach now that I am older. But most nights I just have a nice glass of wine or warm tea after dinner.
Peach cobbler! And today I got the braces off so my broken wrists are healed. Just need motion and strength.
Wacky cake. It’s a family recipe for chocolate cake made with a splash of vinegar. Egg optional.
I love all sweets! Right now because I need to lose so much weight, I’m trying to stick to the sugar free treats like Lily’s chocolates. I will leave my husband’s famous short bread recipe here. 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of powdered sugar, a generous pinch of salt and 2 sticks if butter. With your hands mix in the butter with the dry ingredients until all crumbly and incorporated. Put into a 10” round pan and bake at 375 until just browned on top and edges. Turn out onto a plate immediately and cut into pieces. Let cool and enjoy with coffee.
I enjoy a good chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and washing it down with coffee.

I haven’t met a dessert I didn’t like. I like pie over cake. Not that I have ever turned down cake. Cookies, brownies, turnovers, cobblers I love them all.
My favorite dessert is white cake with whipped cream and bananas. My granny always had this on hand for special occasions and it not only tastes yummy but is a happy memory.
I rarely eat dessert but fresh fruit is always a favorite, even if it is not after a meal.
My favorite dessert is Lemon meringue pie…if I’m at a buffet and they don’t have any I usually go for another salad…IDK…I love a good salad…

Oh boy my favorite dessert is the giant Cream Puffs from Simons Restaurant in Brecksville, Oh. Unfortunately we don’t live there anymore. They were the best!
So now I either buy a Coconut cake from the freezer department of the grocery store, or I make my Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting when ever I want to indulge in the sweets.
My all time favorite dessert is LEMON MERINGUE PIE because of the tartness of the lemon andT the fluffy meringue that melts in my mouth. Thank you for the sugar cookie recipe.

If it’s chocolate it would be a great dessert. My husband’s father made homemade German Chocolate Cake and now on special occasions my husband makes it too. From scratch. So that’s a treat for dessert.
