I am thinking about a pegboard or something else for rulers.
I have been considering s new iron.
I would love more time and shelving. I still work full time as a nurse, so long days, and 2 years to go til retirement, and I would love to bring my fabric closer to me so I can start using what I have.
Like some other ladies commented I really need time more than anything. Hopefully I can retire in the near future!
I’d love to have a sewing room big enough for a large table to enable me to cut, sew and iron. At the moment I have to use a small craft table for cutting out and an ironing pad on it alternating between. It will be nice to move from Sewing on a small desk in the corner of my living room
I would love a designwall.
I need to have a larger room my fabric is overflowing into other rooms because my sewing space is a very small room. I would also like a room for a small longarm so that I could finish some of the quilt tops myself. Then I would like to have more time to sew a cleaning lady would help and possibly a chef to prepare the dinner meals.
Hmmm… a design wall would be lovely.
The Smitten pattern box my patterns are all flying around.
I would love to add a new large room to the house, but we only rent so that is out of contention. What I really need is a design wall, but don’t know where to start. 🇦🇺
Un bel muro di design e un giorno, forse, una longarm!
The one item I would like to add to my work space is a AccuQuilt cutter. It would be lovely to just cut accurately; then, sew. Just a dreaming!
An ironing board and … MORE space please!
I would love to add a design wall, to preview blocks and whole quilt designs.
I would love a new machine with a bigger throat for machine quilting.
I really need better lighting in my sewing room!
I need to add a new work chair. My back needs this too!
I would like to add a cutting station. I share my sewing table with cutting stuff, and it’s just too small 😉 Need a special table, or something separate.
Mine is to take out a wall between 2 rooms to make a great room!!it would be just delicious!!
A design wall. I use the bed to lay out my project and then lift everything up every night – makes things a bit tedious.
I would like a featherweight sewing table for my next addition.
Wow…some great choices. I’d have to say a whole new room would be first choice, with my next choice being a new machine, then fabric because who has enough fabric? LOL
QA new flat would be lovely, one that had another room that I can just close the door when I’m done and not have to tidy up before cooking dinner
Your books!
A good sewing machine
more shelving please!
I would add a sit down sewing machine. I have gotten into ruler work and sometimes a large quilt it hard to handle in a small harp area. I do have a suspension system which I love from Patsy Thompson. Then I added a dog grooming arm to the right of my machine to help with it not catching on the front of my table. My wish list is long. A Koala cabinet system would be nice. I have also started a Lucy Boston Cross Quilt. And any of the Sewline products would help out. My iron is on the blink. Lol Told you it was long.
I need a new iron.
I actually wanted to say Koala table. I mistyped
It’s so hard to pick just one thing that I would like to add but I would really like a Lola sewing table. It would be my dream to have a big table for machine quilting. Thanks for a chance to win one of your give away. I love watching and learning from you.
I definitely need either a big new room or an additional room. (Then I’d put a long arm on the list😉)
Can I add time? I wish. The only thing I feel I am missing re blenders. I have so many fun focal fabric but very few tonal or tone on tone or even solid fabrics. It can make really difficult to coordinate.
I need a room! I have outgrown the one I have.
I would like to have a sewing machine table. I have to use my dinning table when I quilt
I would like to add some see through storage boxes so I could start using some of my scraps.
Pamela S. From Texas…..
My biggest organizational challenge Is my 5 college age children.
My 26 year old came home for the summer to take classes. Had to set a bed up in my sewing room….. no sewing this summer.
Now trying to unearth the room ☹️
I need new machines. Sewing, quilting and embroidery.
I really need an organizer! That might be too much though. Lol. A design wall would also be very helpful. Right now I take Everything to my bedroom and lay it on my bed.
My hubby has said that he’d make me a sewing center,
in which the table top is a 4’x8’ piece of nice plywood.
It will have red locking wheels on the bottom so that I
roll it where I need to or to move it out of the way of
something (actually he picked up the large red wheels;
he thought that they would go). Anyway, it will have
storage areas below and he will cut a hole in the top
so that my sewing machine will recess into it, allowing
the sewing area to be flat. I’ve asked him to recess or
inlay two rulers: a 3’ yardstick that my great Aunt Hazel
painted for me along the short side; along the long side
I want a 4’ yardstick (?) that I got from my Mommom,
the elder quilter in the family. This is what I’d like to
add to my sewing room.
I would like a table to set my Singer Featherweight on so it is always ready to sew.
I need a design wall, but I have no usable wall space. Just lots of bookcases and Windows.
as I don’t have room for a long arm , Babylok has a sit down long arm that has a small floor space that would be excellent. I have tried one out at a quilt show and love it.. My big problem is that Hubby thinks my sewing room is his storage room too!!!! I need my space back. Sold the camper and everything from in there came to my room!!!!
I’ve already had back surgery two years ago, so I really would love to find the perfect chair for my sewing table. If you have any suggestions, let me know. I may need a second surgery for my back in the near future. I have a table that I stand at to cut and iron fabric.
I want the new BabyLock starts with an S – I have old Babylocks and want the new one. I want to do bigger items 10 x 16 quilting in one step – would be so much fun – then do embroidery on top. Maybe before xmas.
I want to add a sit down table for my longarm to replace the frame I have.
I really need to add another worktable. I quilt and paint in the same studio and often this is not a match made in heaven.
I live in a one bedroom apt – small living room/kitchen – I have my machine in the dining area of the kitchen on a desk – my bedroom has all my materials (bins, small bins, big bins). Wold like to organize the bins so its easier to find what I want.
I want to learn how to use my new Bernina machine to add to my new sewing room.
A featherweight sewing machine.
I want to add one of those big ironing Board tops I’ve seen on Pintrist. They Look amazing.
