I really need to find a new iron without an attitude! Every iron I have owned spots on my fabric and leaves brown spots. It’s very frustrating.
I would like to add a good iron. I have the cheapest and believe me you get what you pay for. The right tools make the job so much better.
A new square ironing board with a wool ironing pad. That’s next for my room.
I would like to add another storage cabinet for fabric and kits. The one I have somehow got all filled up!!
My countertop for my new base cupboards is arriving today. Yes Sunday!! Should work so much better that cardboard.
Hi Pat, I am new to your blog page but love reading your articles. The next thing I am adding to my craft room is some furniture to store my fabric. Right now everything is in totes but I want a cubby system to show off the colors.
My ultimate desire would be to have a quilting-craft studio of about 1,000 square feet with a husband’s corner so that he could come visit occasionally ( wouldn’t we all like that!). I would settle for a personal organizer (like a closet organizer)to come to help me to work out the best way to use the space I have and the $ to put her ideas into action!
Design wall for sure
Not really sure, guess I would add more shelves for storage in my room to try to get it more user friendly!!!
love more fabric to my sewing room.
I would really love to add a new sewing/quilting/embroidery machine to my sewing room. I LOVE your sewing room, it’s so tidy and nice and bright with outside views.
Books and fabric are always my favorites.
I’d love to have a sewing machine with a stitch regulator because I can’t get nice stitches when FMQing. 🙄
I am working to organize my storage spaces in my sewing room. I have been using cheap inexpensive plastic drawers from the local box store and leftover garage storage when we went to built-ins there: a hodge-podge. I am to the point I need more!!!
A new design wall.
My sewing room to be needs more outlets for my sewing machine, embroidery machine, iron, etc!
The first thing on my wish list would be a long arm quilting machine. Of course, I would need a new room to put it in!
I would love to have a longarm quilting machine. The problem is finding the space for it.
I want to add a new top to my ironing board. I just have to get my husband to make a large rectangle plywood top for my current board 😉 I would also LOVE to get one of the wool ironing mats that I have seen for an small portable ironing station near my machines
Fabric is always my choice! Right now I need to purchase backing for many finished quilt tops.

I would love a bigger room, just for myself and my quilting stuff, with a nice big design waal, shelfs with a really nice colourful stash so I finaly can join more quilt alongs, and make real big quilts instead of onlt table toppers/runners and mug rugs.
I would love to add a cube style cabinet so I can see my fabrics and get them organized.
A new cutting table and better lighting
This is fun ready everyone’s wish lists! Top of my list (right now) is the pink Oliso iron, been eyeballing that one for some time! Maybe Santa will be generous with everyone this year! Have you been good (or at least good at it)?
I would like to have a new FQ bundle in some lovely solids I have a habit of buying prints and never have any solids to go with my many prints.
I would love to add better lighting!
I would add to my fabric stash, always open to new additions !
I am going to make (expressing myself positively) an ironing/pressing station with an Ikea bookcase/shelf unit, on wheels.I need the space for storage under my ironing board!
The next item I want to add to my sewing space is a mid arm sewing machine. I’m chomping at the bit for that toy!
Does it count if I want to knock out a wall between two small bedrooms and make it one big room for quilting? =) Otherwise, I want shelves to hold my fabric so I can SEE it!
I’d really like my own private teacher for one week!
Does your room have a closet, hang with 3m hooks and bullnose clips a flannel backed table cloth.
I really need a new sewing machine. The one I’m using was made in the 50s, and works well for piecing, but I really like some of the newer features. And I want to try my hand at machine quilting.
I would love to add a rotating mat and bloc loc rulers next.
A new room is exactly what I got this week, love. MY husband , we took down a wall last weekend and replaced the carpet with recycled laminate.. and added some trim. You can see it on your page, I posted a video of my new sewing studio

I’m in need of many sewing things, being I haven’t been back in the ballgame for very long. I need shelving and little helpful items that I can’t always get when I’d like. It takes time, I love your sewing room and your nice things 🙂
