Organized Studio Space tour, DAY 3 of 3 giveaway!

I did a Facebook LIVE on Saturday morning to share my space… come take a look then enter Giveaway #3 at the end.

It was so much fun to flip on Facebook Live for an impromptu walk through my studio

I did not do the captions at Facebook because I have to manually edit them. It’s translator is not very good, and this one was too long for me to go through and rewrite it.
Instead I put it up at Youtube and you can select their closed caption which is better at translating

  1. Working on unfinished Splendid Sampler 1 blocks while trying to print patterns as they come out for the Splendid Sampler 11.
Found a UFO from 2012 from Craftsy block of the month, there are about 2-4 blocks I haven’t tackled. I think I’m going to try to tackle those(really made a mess of the Circle of Geese pattern last night! UGH)Not giving up!! and I’m working on a Blue Jean quilt that needs one more row so I can put the backing on and add the ties.
I’m thinking one of those rolling carts might work in my space. I could roll it from one room to the other and not have stuff scattered so much.

  2. Right now I am working on my son’s red/white/black quilt. I also need to replace the zipper in his hoodie before it gets much colder. We also have adopted the most adorable black kitten. Right now she is sleeping on my arm while I type! LOL Mollie needs toys, so I have been busy knitting, crocheting and stuffing little critters for her.

  3. I’m working on multiple projects but am hoping to finish a super cute seaside inspired quilt for camping at the beach next summer. Hopefully I finish in time!

  4. Currently in addition to the Merry and Bright blocks, I’m working on a quilt to gift to a family member for Christmas and also t-shirts for my twin grandsons who are 5.

  5. I am currently working on Let’s go Camping BOM, along with finishing up some hand quilting on a quilt started 8 years ago. And I also have several projects in various stages of doneness. Lol.

  6. I am currently sewing my very first quilt! I am almost finished with it, just a little more quilting and binding and I can start on the next one! So excited!

  7. Too many irons in the fire right now, So instead I scroll the internet! Thank you for today’s dose of inspiration and a chance to win more stuff!

  8. I’m currently working on a quilt called ‘Simple Life Tulip Quilt’ by Jennifer Moore. I got it from a Quilty Box last year and finally got to making it. It was a challenge for me because it had directional prints on the fabric. I did make a few mistakes in cutting and therefore was short on a few blocks. Oops, but it was a fun challenge. Getting it ready now to quilt. Thanks Pat for your videos, love seeing all the projects you are doing.

  9. I’m currently working on my Fig Tree projects…an autumn sampler, Woodland Wonderland, Red and Cream sampler and Christmas Figs. Lots all at once!

  10. I’m working on a king size quilt made from 5″ batiks for my cousin & his wife…hoping to get done for her birthday as she is currently doing chemo treatments…sending love & prayers for her!

  11. I am making head scarves and chemo caps. My husband joked that he is glad that I am finally sewing something for myself.

  12. Storage is my biggest problem. I think it would help to have a larger sewing machine cabinet with storage. That way I would not have wasted space and no boxes of supplies and material that had to be moved when ever I needed to clean the floor.

  13. I am currently sewing a puff quilt for my granddaughter! I have several WIPS but this is the one that is on my machine table right now and I am determined to finish it soon!

  14. Donation quilt for a lady who has a brain injury…She specified red, yellow, green and brown….just finished it. It was a bit challenging using ONLY those colors as she was very specific. Now onto quilting a turkey wall quilt for Thanksgiving…then a coffee themed quilt for a chef friend of ours.

  15. I am working on a table topper for my “new-to-me” bed stand (an old wash stand that doesn’t have the upper arms), and also a new quilt for our bed.

  16. This is wild…. I just finished a Jelly Roll quilt for Jelly Roll day to use for a charity. and I decided to work on something fun and I had picked up your Sewing Machine quilt for my Sewing Room. So excited to work on it.

  17. I was working on a quilt for one of my granddaughters until I broke my ankle. Since my sewing room is upstairs I am limited to hand sewing projects for the next few weeks

  18. Have a Christmas quilt I designed almost finished (last 2 borders need to be sewn on). I have an order for a diva wallet. There is one baby quilt I have to put together. Lastly I have 2 UFOs to do.

  19. I am currently working on the XMmas Merry & Bright and also splendid sampler 2. I just finished an embroidered baby quilt of teddie bears with yellow pinwheels.

  20. I am currently working on a Christmas table runner made up of 3″ finished half square triangles. At last year’s guild Christmas party we had a half square triangle swap. We all had the same size pattern to work from resulting in a minimum of 4 half square triangles. Based on how many you put into the swap determined how many you’d get to take out. I ended up with A LOT of HST all Christmas fabric, all very scrappy. This will be a gift for my daughter and son-in law who are celebrating their first holiday in a new home. It’s wonderful to finish up a UFO!

  21. I’m working on a baby quilt to keep in my “emergency box” – presents for when you need a quilt in an emergency. Then I have some Halloween place mats for the family to construct – hopefully they will be fast.

  22. I am currently working on a quilt I am designing using Windhams “uncorked” fabric. It will be done in columns and quilted using embroidery in between the columns.

  23. I’m currently working on a fabric challenge from my quilt guild group. We can make anything from the Farmhouse Floral 5” charm pack by Nancy Zieman. It’s a nice tribute to a special lady. No other rules. I can’t wait to see what everyone has made.

  24. I’m making a curtain for my daughter right now. Then on to one of your patterns I have been downloading. Not sure if is going to be Grandmas’s Kitchen or Merry & Bright. Thanks

  25. Currently I am working on 2 baby quilts. One is a Pirate ship design for a boy and the other is a Pinwheel design for a little girl! Plus I am including bibs and burp clothes. Lots to get done this week! 🙂

  26. Hi, I’m working on Splendid Sampler 2 and Merry and Bright as they come out plus Christmas gifts. Several quilt tops and just got K Fassett fabric for making bags. Can’t wait to start.

  27. I’m currently Epp’ing Farmer’s Wife 1920 with another FB group; hand quilting my daughter’s black and red queen size quilt; hand stitching a lap size Jelly Roll Race in Batiks; a monthly murder mystery BOM with yet another FB group; waiting for a couple of days in a row for 2 more Jelly Roll Rugs to gt finished; and then there’s Grandma’s Kitchen waiting to be caught up, along with about 12 tops waiting to be paired with batting & backing and finished! All in all……..not much 😀

  28. I am currently working on the Splendid Sampler 2 current block and Aurifil’s September block, and a Christmas wall-hanging. I have enjoyed following your organizing odyssey. It has inspired me to get moving. I love your junk drawer cabinet. It’s something I could certainly use and will probably head out to the container store near me and see if I can find one. Thanks Pat, you truly are an inspiration.

  29. I am currently sewing practice blocks. I wanted to try to learn some new skills without committing to a large project, so I’ve been tackling different starts, applique, etc., in little snippets. Now to figure out what to do with all these blocks of various sizes!
