Organized Studio Space tour, DAY 3 of 3 giveaway!

I did a Facebook LIVE on Saturday morning to share my space… come take a look then enter Giveaway #3 at the end.

It was so much fun to flip on Facebook Live for an impromptu walk through my studio

I did not do the captions at Facebook because I have to manually edit them. It’s translator is not very good, and this one was too long for me to go through and rewrite it.
Instead I put it up at Youtube and you can select their closed caption which is better at translating

  1. Merry and Bright and Let’s Go Camoing. Also the Gnome Quilt along from Fat Cat’s. A neighbor and his wife recently passed away within two days of one another and I volunteered to make the family some memory pillows from his shirts. Always have a project, just completed three quilts so time to get out a new one!

  2. I’m currently working on two quilt-a-longs, sewing a dress, shirt for dear hubby & a mug rug for a friend’s birthday.

  3. I am working on a project called Winterse Hexies. It’s from a Dutch lady called Anneliefs. Every Saturday she mails us an assignment.
When I’ve finished all the assignments I will have a quilt made with English paper piercing. There is a Facebook group where a lot of participants show their projects. It’s nice to see how far everybody is and the different colors they use.

  4. I do not have a quilt project at the moment. I do have clothing projects for my newest grandson. I have decided, because the fabric is cotton and thin, to make reversible pants featuring machines, tractors, John Deere, and Farmall tractors.

  5. Currently I am working on Pat Sloan’s Merry and Bright quilt and finishing a fall quilt from a mystery sit and sew begun at my quilt guild last month.

  6. I am also making a block a week in The Patchsmith Sampler Block Quilt Sew Along, by Amanda, The Patchsmith! I love making the blocks weekly! And I slid in a Single Girl Quilt, by Denyse Schmidt, in the sew along!

  7. Working on a holiday quilt. I taught myself machine appliqué with your book. It is a lap quilt with blocks of appliquéd trees and stars. It is great practice for blanket stitching inner and outer counters. I have tried many times to learn applique but never succeeded until your book. Now I love it. Thank you.

  8. I’m currently working on Merry & Bright! I just finished the setting blocks. And I’m about to start a jelly roll quilt for a Christmas present!

  9. Working on Shooting star, hexagon quilt, knitting a cardigan for my daughter, crocheting a baby blanket among other things
Thanks a lot for all your quilt along, and great teaching.

  10. I’m sewing the Merry and Bright sew along. I Love that I get a whole week to get it right. Your direction are so easy to follow. I am also working on a Fall theme quilt that is mostly applique.

  11. I currently have a bunch of WIPs, as always, but I am concentrating on finishing up a Scrappy Trips quilt – a Bonnie Hunter design.

  12. I’m making placemats for my Mother-in-laws Birthday. One is done, three more to go. And there are two quilt tops and one table runner waiting to be quilted.

  13. I am working on a fall color log cabin quilt with elk panels for a friend of mine and some aprons and pajamas for the grand kids for Christmas. And Pat’s Camping block of the month of course!

  14. I am currently working on a baby quilt for my grand daughter to be born any day Obviously I won’t have it done before she is born 🙂

  15. I am currently sewing 3 things at the same time – a catch-all carry all(from Anne unrein) in calico crow fabric, it’s so cute, I’m sewing the latest monthly installments of Sarah fielkes grasshopper block of the month and her simple folk block of the month and I’m making another jelly roll rug, this one out of Jill howarth Peter pan fabric. Those jelly roll rugs are super fun to make. Sooo, right now I have pieces and parts of all 4 projects everywhere!

  16. Several projects in the works. I need to add the borders to my Village quilt and make a few more blocks for my Crush quilt from Pat’s pattern.

  17. I’m making “neck warmers” with my leftover jelly roll strips and rice. These will be given to our local senior center to use for Christmas gifts this year. They are sew much fun to make!

  18. I am working on a few quilts, I’m making one for my nephew he love’s the MN Twins baseball. I need space to put it together on a design wall, before I sew it together.

  19. I’m likely the strange bird here. Not only do I make quilts, I cosplay too and make my own cosplay outfits. Currently I am make the Queen of Hearts outfit that the character Cora Mills wore in the series “Once Upon A Time”.

  20. I have all my fabric sorted by color in clear tubs and folded so that I can see what is in them before opening. Sure hope someone from Canada can win day 3….wonderful prize!

  21. Currently working on a couple of lap tops for familly and friends, not to mention the Merry and Bright sew along, a mystery quilt along and various blocks that I see and like.

  22. I am currently working on the blocks from Partners In Design Fall Quilt Along.
Need to make 10 pillowcases for cancer. Tablet topper,

  23. Love your studio!
I am working at 100 blocks backwards , Tula Pink. It started in the Netherlands that way. Starting with 100 and working back. Today block 59. Love the project and the pics everyone posted.
I am working on the Splendid Sampler with Christmas fabrics, started at the very beginning but life was in its way so I have to start over again, after the 100 blocks. Love that project too!

  24. I am currently working to finish 3 quilt tops I have made. First one will have to be the Christmas Star quilt I am making for my Brother and Sister in Law

  25. I’m doing the binding on a mini dresden plate table runner. Then, I will pull out the charity quilt I started earlier this summer that needs to quilted and bound.

  26. I am currently making a table runner (embroidery panels, sewn in the evening and at my quilting group), but most recently under my needle has been notebook covers – as Christmas presents. I am one of the bloggers on the UKQU website, and was sent some ribbons to review, so thought about showing them off in a notebook cover, and then I made another one, using a piece of fabric I had made – lots of strips and bits and pieces sewn onto a background fabric, then free motion sewing over the top and then embellished with ribbons and decorative threads. I didn’t know wjphat I was going to use the panel for, and when making the first book cover I saw it and I knew!
Of course, I have other WIPs (or PHDs as I prefer to call them) – some BOMs, and quite a few quilts for Project Linus amongst others….

  27. Right now I’m hand quilting my daughter’s twin size quilt. I’ve got a quilt for another girl who was just adopted waiting for the binding and I plan to bi d them both next week. I’m in the final stretch on both projects.

  29. I am still trying to finish my Grandson’s log cabin quilt. The top is done and I am making the back as one giant log cabin made from the leftovers. I had to stop sewing for a bit and I’m behind on it, as well as some of your other sew alongs.
