I have had this pattern on my drawing board for a long time and finally have it for you! I wanted a quilt that uses a charm pack plus a bit more. This is Vintage Holiday (from years ago). Let’s make a quilt to enjoy the gorgeous fabric and make it ‘quick’.

This one is done in gorgeous blue and tan!

Ready for Valentines, this fabric line is so pretty!

PLEASE SEE PHOTO ABOVE:
The Stars float, this is the way I designed the pattern so it’s easy and fun! The point is NOT down at the base like traditional patchwork. This makes it very forgiving and a fun ‘floating’ star.

I want to make this quilt using mini charms, does anyone have suggestions?
thank you pat looking forward to trying this
Why not just add another row each way— length and width. You may need to move the placement of the stars but that shouldn’t be a problem.
If you can make the smaller version, add a few more aqua res and/or a few more stars for a larger one.
Duh! I forgot to add the measurements for the border for both sides! lol lol
I had the same question because that will only result in a 56″ X 58″ quilt which is not twin size. I need a 63″ X 87″ to get a twin charity quilt. That’s pretty much the minimum size for a twin.
I believe the pattern is 48″ X 50″. With the tip of adding the 8″ of borders, it will grow it to 56″ X 58″.
Love the pattern, but with the tip of adding on a 2″ and a 6″ border, we still wouldn’t have a twin size quilt. 48″ X 50″ original size plus the 8 inches of borders, still only gives a 56″ X 58″ quilt. For our charity quilts, we need a quilt that measures 63″ X 87″ at least.
I was hoping this would work for the charity quilts we make for our veterans, but still a bit too small.
Looks like a great quilt. Would love a free download of it.
would like oh my stars free quilt pattern
I’m confused. I have the pattern for the 41.5 x 50.5″ and you are saying that the lap size is 54.5 x 68.5?

Is there a way to check if I bought the expanded pattern for OhMy Stars but can’t find it. Is there a way to find out?
Exciting! Thank you so much!
I wasn’t able to print the enlarged oh my stars pattern I purchased. Could you resend it to me please

I loved making this pattern. Thank you Pat for making it available.
I’m not able to upload a picture. It tells me my file is too big. Not sure how to make my picture smaller.
I just purchased the Oh My Stars pattern for the larger quilt patterns. I didn’t realize my printer did not change to Landscape for the first page. The rest of the pages printed just fine. Is there any way I can get a copy of just that page. I have my purchase number and email that I can share with you. Thank you for your assistance.
thank you Marilyn!
No Patricia just digital. Ask a friend to print for you
Does your “Oh my stars are on pattern come in print?
Hi again Pat, I think I figured out the sizing from laptop to twin. Do I do a 2 inch inner border all around and then a 6 inch outer border all around
thanks, Bonnie
I made the free pattern and just now purchased the larger one. I’m excited to start another O My Stars quilt. How can I make this into a twin size?

So excited to give this one a try. I have grounded myself from quilting until I have my office space cleaned. This may be the inspiration to get it done. Thank you!
Just made an Oh My Stars quilt for the Honor Flight in Northern Colorado. I have yet to quilt it. A very easy pattern to make and I thought very appropriate for my project. Thank you.

I just saw your Blue one, Pat. Breathtaking too. Everytime you make a different one is even prettier. Incredible versatility of this pattern.
Love this pattern!💕 Can’t wait to try this
I can not download your patterns. What is the secret?
I really wanted this pattern, but the download says it can change data on all websites I visit. I am afraid of it. Not real handy on here. Any other way to get the free pattern or do I need to let my want go? Can’t afford a fix it charge if I mess up my computer.
Thanks
