PLEASE SEE PHOTO ABOVE:

The Stars float, this is the way I designed the pattern so it’s easy and fun! The point is NOT down at the base like traditional patchwork. This makes it very forgiving and a fun ‘floating’ star.

  1. Why not just add another row each way— length and width. You may need to move the placement of the stars but that shouldn’t be a problem.
If you can make the smaller version, add a few more aqua res and/or a few more stars for a larger one.

  2. I had the same question because that will only result in a 56″ X 58″ quilt which is not twin size. I need a 63″ X 87″ to get a twin charity quilt. That’s pretty much the minimum size for a twin.

  3. I believe the pattern is 48″ X 50″. With the tip of adding the 8″ of borders, it will grow it to 56″ X 58″.

  4. Love the pattern, but with the tip of adding on a 2″ and a 6″ border, we still wouldn’t have a twin size quilt. 48″ X 50″ original size plus the 8 inches of borders, still only gives a 56″ X 58″ quilt. For our charity quilts, we need a quilt that measures 63″ X 87″ at least.
I was hoping this would work for the charity quilts we make for our veterans, but still a bit too small.

  5. I’m confused. I have the pattern for the 41.5 x 50.5″ and you are saying that the lap size is 54.5 x 68.5?

  6. Is there a way to check if I bought the expanded pattern for OhMy Stars but can’t find it. Is there a way to find out?

  7. I wasn’t able to print the enlarged oh my stars pattern I purchased. Could you resend it to me please

  8. I loved making this pattern. Thank you Pat for making it available.
I’m not able to upload a picture. It tells me my file is too big. Not sure how to make my picture smaller.

  9. I just purchased the Oh My Stars pattern for the larger quilt patterns. I didn’t realize my printer did not change to Landscape for the first page. The rest of the pages printed just fine. Is there any way I can get a copy of just that page. I have my purchase number and email that I can share with you. Thank you for your assistance.

  10. Hi again Pat, I think I figured out the sizing from laptop to twin. Do I do a 2 inch inner border all around and then a 6 inch outer border all around
    thanks, Bonnie

  20. I really wanted this pattern, but the download says it can change data on all websites I visit. I am afraid of it. Not real handy on here. Any other way to get the free pattern or do I need to let my want go? Can’t afford a fix it charge if I mess up my computer.
    Thanks
    Thelma Otto
