There are so many blessings to be thankful for in 2024. Having more time to spend with family especially my granddaughter after retirement was the highlight of my year. And of course more sewing time! Thanks for all you do to keep us quilters inspired!

The best thing about 2924 was spending more time with my grandson who lives in NYC. We always go on an adventure if only to McDonalds.

Having my daughter and her family move to NC from California was definitely the highlight of my year! Getting to see my grandchildren every week makes me so happy! Watching them grow and learn is such a blessing!
I didn’t finish a lot of quilts in 2024 because we did a major remodel of our kitchen. With all the construction, I just didn’t get to sew as much as planned. Lots of dust everywhere! I did finish several small quilt tops that will be quilted and ready to be used in 2025. I’m looking forward to some of your sew alongs in the new year.
There are so many things for me to be thankful for in 2024. I completed several projects and started several too! I adopted a little chiweenie puppy, named her Maggie. She has made my life a whole lot better!

My wonderful moment was seeing the total eclipse with my daughter and grandchildren! It was awesome! Happy New Year everyone and thank you, Pat, for everything you do.
Lots to he grateful for in 2024. Time with my kids and grandkids has been wonderful. I finished 14 quilts in 2024 and probably bought enough fabric for 15 or 20 more. I call my fabric purchases “pre retirement planning” 😁. Thanks for all your free content Pat Sloan, you are a gift!
The best thing about 2024 was my first great-grand daughter being born. She is healthy and beautiful. Happy New Year!!
In 2024 I definitely improved as a quilter, stepping outside my comfort zone.
The best thing was I made it thru! Busy year,we have a golf cart store and I sew all the custom seat covers!! Enjoyed my family every chance I get.I am hoping to get my youngest grandson’s quilt done for graduation. He’s only a freshman,but I want to make sure he gets one! I also want to do more free motion sewing!! Happy New Year to all!!!
One best thing that happened to me this year is that two of my sons moved closer to home so that my husband and I can see them and the grandchildren more.
2024 was a full year of retirement quilting, a couple of trips to Texas to visit grandchildren and family. ❤️ Also finally!… A perfect opportunity to go thru and organize my stash! Wow!… Now I know what I have and it’s all color coordinated! I enjoy your videos and watch them with a cup of coffee! Thank you Pat!
In 2024 we became “empty nesters”. Miss the kids but love having more time for quilting! Finally have dedicated sewing space! In 2025, hope to complete so many UFOs!

My grand daughters are the best thing that happened to me in 2024. Everyday is a bonus when I’m with them. Just yesterday my 8 yo granddaughter asked me where I get my money from since I don’t work. She also received a Nintendo switch for Christmas and she told my husband and I what she does not like about it, parent control switch. lol

The best about 2024 was meeting every Tuesday with my quilt group. These ladies work together to make quilts for Children and Youth agency, Grandma’s lap for dialysis patients and dog beds with scraps from scraps for human society. And we have a great time socializing. The quilt kit was lovely.
In 2024 I made a bunch of beautiful quilts and did some minor upgrades to my sewing room. I brought a new iron and am extension table for my sewing machine. I also tried some new medicine and lost some weight and feel much better. Looking forward to 2025 and making more quilts.
Something wonderful in 2024! I turned 60 and I have a beautiful family that all came home for Christmas! I finished multiple projects this year! I began watching your YouTube videos again and learned so much! Thank you for a wonderful year!
my best 2024 quilt thoughts are about close friends i have met because of quilting and the good times we have together encouraging each other. Also the dedicated quilters from our church and guild who have helped give away so many quilts both near and far. Ideas shared from your site have been so welcomed…THANK YOU!!
My best thing for 2024 was that we moved from Tennessee to Florida where I met some quilters and now have someone to share my hobby with.
Two great 2024 memories. A Netherlands river cruise with my sister that strengthened our relationship and a Colorado mountain trip with all of our children to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Truly blessed in 2024
My 2024 was learning a few new quilting techniques. First, I made the 4 at at time flying geese and they turned out just perfect. Secondly, I learned to twist or pinwheel my seams! Simple things but both made my quilting so much better. Looking forward to an great 2025!

I worked on charting an historical cross stitch for reproduction. It was a challenging but exciting experience. Seeing others actually stitching the reproduction is so nice. It will be wonderful to see it hung at an historical site eventually so the original can be preserved. I think this was a once in a lifetime for me.
One of the best things about 2024 was the time spent with family- that’s always the best! I also created a new sewing space and I used the space a lot! Quilting has become more than a hobby or a past time – it is my solace . A place and a time to quiet my mind and to find peace.

ENJOYED THIS PAST YEAR WATCHING THE GRANDKIDS GROW AND ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WITH MY FAMILY.
I traveled to Iceland in 2024 and had a wonderful trip. Lots of waterfalls, horses, whales, and a glacier. The people were wonderful! I also made several quilts and gave a few away.
I was able to sew quilt and needlework. I’m a year away from retirement and making plans for that.
I love Heathers designs. This would be a great gift to make for a little girl.
My favorite part of 2024 was having all my children and their families together for Christmas. We aren’t able to all be together very often and it was so special to see my ten grandchildren playing together! Also, I finished a mammoth cross-stitch project for my daughter after not cross-stitching for at least 20 years, and I have a renewed love for cross-stitch–will definitely be doing more in 2025!
My third grandchild was born this year is definitely the best thing about 2024! My best quilting thing is retiring and having more time to quilt. Looking forward to 2025, my quilting friends and I have lots of trips and quilting adventures planned.
We got to do more kayaking, had a little more money this year, so got some extra things done, kitchen counters redone, got to see grandkids at Christmas good health for our age.
my one thing wonderful: i have been fighting cancer for 8 years it was already stage 4 when found and had metastasized. i could not have the 12 hour surgery to remove because i have heart failure. i did chemo radiation and we never got rid of it all and well its to long to get into all of it but they found 2 spots on my liver and that started the cancer process again so i went for a scan and one of the spots just was gone not there anymore and two things removed from another organ came back not cancer.
I had all my children and grandchildren home for Christmas this yeas!

2024 had many ups and downs but through all the trials my family remained close! My sister beat breast cancer, my mother is recovering from a broken hip, I cracked a couple of ribs but healed nicely. Family and friends grew closer and God carried us through all,of it!
Something wonderful for 2024 happened last week. Everyone was able to go to my Moms for Christmas. She lives in NY. …PA, FL, AK all represented ❤️.many miles of safe travels. And the Flower Shop quilt is so cute and romantic without being all lovey doves hearts all over LOL.

The best thing about 2024 has been that my mother, in her 90s, has overcome several bouts of illness and is now well and back to quilting!
My home and I survived three major weather events in 2024. Debbie, Helene, and Milton. Yes, I live in Florida. Happy New Year!

The best thing to happen for me in 2024 was that my dad, who is 90 got to come home from the hospital on December 23rd, and our whole family made it to our Christmas celebration just two days before my dad was placed on Hospice. I will forever be grateful that we were all able to be together on Christmas with my dad.
The best thing about 2024 was my first granddaughter having my first great grandson!!! Plus I’m so blessed to be able to babysit him one day a week!!!
So many wonderful happenings this year. Had a great granddaughter (#10). Finished Tula Pink’s The Butterfly Quilt and gifted to granddaughter for graduation, just to name a few. Thanks for your hard work to continue putting your video’s out for us to enjoy.
