I’m on a ‘roll’… get it? Jelly roll?… haha!  2nd grade humor and too many hours writing patterns last few days.. but enough silliness.. read on!

  1. LaConner by Jera Brandvig for Lecien Fabrics is my current favorite fabric. That could be because I spent many years living near LaConner, Washington. However, being a fabric junky, I love all my fabrics and try to keep a wide variety stashed.

  2. My local shop never seems to have the beautiful jelly rolls I see on here! I mostly use batik rolls which are always beautiful, but sure would enjoy working with something like this one of yours!

  3. I love jelly roll quilts. A lot of the cutting is already done for you when you use them. I just saw a fabric line designed by Amy Butler at my LQS that I am interested in. I can’t remember the name of it.

  4. Just having fun plAying with Jelly rolls and making my own partterns up as I go depending on the colors in the Jelly roll.

  5. I’m looking at some really bright prints! That “Stitched” pattern would look marvelous in bright colors, don’t you think?

    I like working with jelly rolls instead of having to cut all the fabric.

  13. One of my favorites right now is “Rainy Day” by Me and My Sister Designs for Moda. The colors are so bright and cheerful, they would make any rainy day happier!

  14. I would love to get the jelly roll as I could give it to my sister after her fabric stash is destroyed by Irma in Tampa.

  15. I love the first one but don’t know if I could make it. So far it’s been a jelly roll race or a layer cake sewn together.
