  1. I made it for my Grandson Tanner age 7 who had been begging for a “gramma quilt” for a long time. It was a character quilt that I paper pieces and did Quilt as you go. Very very time consuming but his reaction was priceless and so worth the time put in.

  2. Last quilt I finished binding, which is when I consider it done, was for me, my Mariner’s Compass, pattern by Quiltworxs, over a year in the making!

  3. The last quilt I made was for my niece. It was for her baby shower. Brandon loves his quilt. I would like to try a jelly roll quilt 🙂

  4. The last quilt I made was a project I did at my cousin’s house and it’s for me. A fun little lap quilt, using fabrics out of my stash just because I could. I makes a bold statement and is in colors I love.

  5. The last quilt I made actually was two quilts. I made two I Spy quilts for our 2 great grandsons. I made both of them at the same time.

  6. The last quilt I made was for my son and his wife for their wedding it was for their cottage in the north woods of Wisconsim. Hence a north woods theme

  7. I’m using a jelly roll of beautiful blue and green batiks in the pattern “Braid in a Day” Of course, I know it will take be longer than a day to complete.

  8. The last quilt I made for a my grandson, he’s a big ball fame so the quilt was a Blue Jays
baseball quilt also a quilt for my son and wife, both Christmas presents

  9. The last quilt I made is for a precious friend’s daughter for her high school graduation. She wanted the flag of Texas pattern and as I have been quilting it, I have been praying for all of those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
I love the way we can share our projects and thoughts on your website Pat! I love reading and learning about people. Thank you!

  10. The last quilt I made is for my niece in NJ…going into Monday ‘s mail!!
    It is a surprise!!
    Thank you.

  11. SHHHHH! Don’t tell anyone, but the last quilt I made is for my daughter and the new baby boy that is arriving. I haven’t given it to her yet so it’s still a secret, but I can confide in you. Right????

  12. My last quilt was for my 14 year old granddaughter. She found fabric in my stash that she loved and drew a sketch of what she wanted. I’m starting one for her brother today.

  13. My last quilt top was a Double Slice Layer Cake, made completely from my stash in blacks, whites and primary colors, that will be donated to our first responders.

  14. The last quilt I made was for me, but I have the tops made for my grandson, as well as my daughter and SIL. I just have to find time to quilt them!

  15. I’m new to quilting, started less than a year ago when I wanted to make a quilt for my son… the first quilt I made is the one I gave away to my son. I’m making Grandmas Kitchen quilt for my mom now!

  16. My bad! Last quilt I made was for “ME”! 😂 I made it from a jelly roll and it’s a beautiful green heart quilt! Love it!

  17. The last quilt top I made was “Garden Squares” for my niece’s upcoming house warming. They just bought a new house …and every home needs a quilt! And it was made with 2 1/2″ strips!

  18. The last quilt I made was for a baby shower with kinky and that new soft gauze like fabric. It was for an August baby and we live in AZ, it never gets very cold here LOL!

  19. Friends gave me a wonder box of fabrics from Hawaii and I took some and made a quilt that I gave back to them. The next quilt I will give will be to the Linus Project. Knowing it will make it into the arms of a child that needs comfort and that my quilt sewn with love might make their time better is so rewarding.

  20. The last quilt I made was for an aunt who just moved into a care facility. Working on one for my mother-in-law now. And planning one for a niece.

  21. My family enjoys vacationing in the Adirondacks. My last quilt was a wall hanging with twelve embroidered blocks depicting scenes that remind of us our favorite things that beckon us north every summer.

  22. My last quilt was actually two quilts made for two precious identical twins whose Mom and Dad are members of our Church.

  23. The last quilt I made was FINALLY for my husband with left over scraps of quilts I have made in the past. This was the only quilt I have made for us. I have made many quilts over the years but always for someone else. I have never had the pleasure of being able to use jelly rolls or any already cut pieces. I live away from the City and quilting gives me a hobby to do of which I love!

  24. I am currently quilting on a baby quilt for my daughter’s college roommate. They are having a boy and it will be in the school colors.

  25. My last quilt project was for a sweet newborn baby boy that is being adopted into our family. I was thrilled to gift him with a baby quilt. I would love to win a jelly roll 😀

  26. The last quilt I made was for my granddaughter’s fifth birthday. It was a string quilt in rainbow colors. She says she sleeps under it every night. That makes this Grammy’s heart very, very happy.

  27. My daughter is a foster mom and she had two boys in her home for the last two years. Last month, she was finally able to legally adopt them. I made them each a welcome to the family quilt with their new names and favorite themes. I also made throw pillows to match. Love those boys!!

  28. My last quilt was actually two quilts as they were for a set of twins in our Church. Two little identical twin girls who are so precious. I made them the same pattern and just
    changed some colors around.
    Thanks, Sandra
