Jan 1, 2017… the first page of our new year is so FULL of possibilities! My personal tradition is to be SURE I do a few minutes of ALL the things I want to do MORE of this year. For me that is…

  • Sew sew sew!!! did I mention sew?
  • Take a walk, I want to walk more
  • Take a few minutes to be relaxed, maybe read, look at a book, or just listen to some music. Take some time to let my mine think. I tend to be a go-go-go person and have to force myself to slow down.

The Quilt behind my Question is my new ‘Pinwheel Park’ Layer cake pattern + one fabric pattern, hope you make one!

  25. Rut Roh, this is exactly what I need. I need value each minute and squeeze the value out of it. Last year was hard. I mean it was really hard, I lost many friends and family members… can you say six? I started out really well. The moving was over and it was time to discover my new life here. My goal was to make a new project then finish a UfO which I did until April when the deaths started. I am so proud of it me for that! Now I get to start over. New year; new rules. I still want to do my UFOson but I want to create a future for myself by working on current things like your new sampler. It will be a challenge for me but I’m hoping to push myself to take advantage of the time I have instead of looking back as much as I have in the past two years. Thank you for your continued inspiration.
