I have a wee teeny tiny little collection of holiday fabrics (insert eyes looking to the heavens…) So I got out the crate.. tub... um.. I mean little box of them … and used a piece of my Santa fabric for the window! I'm going to start looking for darling prints to add in!
We are on Block #4.. below is the download & link to my project page with ALL the blocks
TRUE CONFESSION.. this is 'Try #2' as 'Try #1' didn't quite make it.. want to see?

When I made this block I didn't think about how using a different fabric at the bottom would create an entirely new look. It makes the house short. I put it on my design wall for awhile and it bugged me.
So I had a date with Jack, Jack the Ripper, and fixed it up! Don't you think it's better on the one above it?

I make mostly lap quilts, table runners. baby quilts but am working on a king size quilt right now. I love the blue fabric and would truly love to win the give away!
I like to do bed quilts, but want to get started on other size quilts as well.
my love is quilts..lap,bed then baby. table runners are fun also
I love to make small quilt or lap size because it’s way easier to quilt them then a bigger one.
Mostly bed quilts. I love how fun your site is! Thank you!!
I love all size projects! And the color scheme with that blue is spot on!
Just a beginner, so nothing is completed yet. <3 the blues! Thank you for all of your helpful posts and products, Pat!!
I make wall quilts and lap quilts mostly but have three “big ones” in progress at the moment.
I mainly do small quilts for Quilts for Kids and tablerunners
Small projects for the wall or baby quilts! ❤️
I generally have been making lap quilts. I want to start making smaller gift items.
So far small projects, as in baby quilts, is what I have made the most of. I am only on my third project though. lol
I happen to like the house block that you felt like you needed to redo. It looks like grass and flowers around the base of the house.
Los bloques son preciosos!!!
I love making lap quilts and table runners. I can play with fabric and design and have a quick finish. I do make bed quilts but just enough so friends and family are warm and loved.
Ohhh – quilts of all sizes are wonderful, but I especially love, blue and white bed quilts. Blue and white seems to be the colours I come back to time and again when I make two colour quilts. It’s bed quilts all the way for me! 🙂
I make both Baby quilts and lap quilts…but I can’t keep up with with so many babies being added to family blessing by blessing!
I am new at making quilts. What I have done is very basic and baby/kid sized but I am enjoying Grandma’s Kitchen squares very much to learn more than I have done. I appreciate and look forward to a new block on Wednesdays. I have yet to quilt one myself. I haven’t gotten brave enough to give it a try but I am working toward that goal, too. Yes, I love contests. Rarely win but I like to try.
This is such a good idea. Love all of them.
I make a lot of lap size and children’s quilts. I am in a quilt group and we donated over 200 quilts last year to different charities. A few are quilts for kids, our local shelter, and various fundraisers. These are beautiful colors!
I make a lot of small projects, a few bed quilts, and I have no idea what to do with lap quilt sized projects so I don’t make them.
I have made more lap size quilts than any bed size. What a great give away. 😊
Beautiful fabric!
I love all your projects and I want to win a giveaway!!!!!
Me, me me!
I sew mostly small projects. Just moving up to bigger. I’ve sewn all my life for family, but now I’m retired with no kids I’m hoping I will have time to expand my horizons.
I make some of each but am currently working on mostly bed size with a couple of lap quilts and one table runner. Nine projects in all.
Love blue and so need it in my stash!
LOL! Yes to all of the above. New and probably bit off more than I can chew. Go big (quilts) or go home! Right?
I am making lap quilts to donate to the Mary Potter Foundation in Adelaide. They give a quilt to each new guest, and the family takes it home when the guest has passed away as a momento. Small 44-48″ square quilts is what they want, and at the moment I’m sorting through my orphan blocks and making quilts out of those. It’s a good size and manageable to quilt on a domestic machine. thanks for the chance to win 🙂
More lap quilts and also teach others so they get enjoyment in making them too!!!!!
I’ve made mostly bed size quilts. Of coarse mine is still not quilted!
And I LOVE Blue!!!
I LOVE to do a bit of everything, but especially bed quilts, when my health allows. Surgery on Monday for recurrent thyroid cancer.
Love these blocks and hope to start on them soo.
I make all sorts of quilts, from small kits to lap size charity quilts. Even a drool mat for my English Mastiff…next a bed for him! I find I start with a pattern and then go off of my own with it. I have just started the Grandma’s Kitchen blocks and love doing them! They are good practice for a novice like me and the directions have been great.
Thanks for all you do for us quilters. Love your style!
I’m now making throws or lap Quilts; bed size are too heavy for me now!
Thank you!
My favorite colors! I love making your patterns.
Mostly Lap quilts/ throw size and some wall hangings.
I make all sorts of things from baby quilts to a king size right now! I make wall hangings, table runners and totes & purses too!
Mostly lap quilts and wall hangings right now. Lots of twin bed sized in past for grandkids.
Yes!! we love giveaways.
Mostly lap size/ twin sized quilts. Our group does a lot of charity quilts for our women’s shelter. It takes a lot longer to finish my bed sized ones.
PS, the window Santa fabric is so stinkin’ cute!
I make most small quilts–place mats, mug rugs, and lap size.
I also love to make quilts, And I do it without any guilts. My stash fills up two floors, However, I always buy more. You can find me in my sewing room, Where I chase away any thoughts of gloom. Or you can find me with a needle in my hand, My fellow quilters all understand. I love to make quilts!!!!!!!!!!
I always start out thinking it will only be a lap size, yet they almost always grow to be at least a full or queen size. I guess I need to be more firm{or buy less fabric for each project.}
I prefer to make smaller projects, but I make a variety of large and lap top size quilts?
Since i am new to quilting, i like small projects, for now. Thanks for the opportunity!
I make lap quilts, bed quilts, when I see a pattern I like, I go for it. Thanks for the giveaway. Love your site but it gets me in trouble buying so much fabric 😉
Pretty houses! I make wall quilts, though I am thinking about making a large quilt for a challenge. My quilts seem to be growing these days. I like small projects, too, for gifts, and for items in our home.
