I love fat quarter shop !!!! Alas, some of my favorite fabrics to purchase are little novelty pieces that have little children at play. They trigger my senses every time!
Oh boy, this Giveaway is a biggie, I have become such a fan of FQS! Kimberly has been getting me on two fronts: quilting and cross stitch (with help from what you make with them). I’d say my favorite fabric used to be reproductions but these days it’s Fig Tree fabrics (for an ongoing project) and cross stitch cloth, LOL!
I like to go scrappy and really enjoy blender fabrics. They just help tie together the fabric choices in a quilt and hlep fill in any gaps. I like to have an ombre of colors since one color may look light in one block and medium in another depending on the corresponding colors. I always check the sale rack for blenders.
The Fat Quarter Shop is AWESOME! I so appreciate all of their free patterns and all the inspiration provided by Kimberly’s videos. Their customer service is the best and I love ordering from FQS.

Congratulations on your 10th anniverary PAT! My favorite fabric is pastel colored, pink, aqua, lilac, and mint green. I LOVE buying from FQS, especially when they have sales. I like Tula Pink’s older lines; linework, minerals, and the hexi ones. I mostly buy what grabs my eye, instead of a certain designer.

I have always loved quilting with batiks and hand-dyes, but lately I’m in love with prints again! So delicious — beautiful colors, terrific designs.

I haven’t met many fabrics that I don’t like! I tend to gravitate to more saturated colors but noticed recently that I also enjoy more muted tones.
My husband would be thrilled, and my credit card, if I won the $150 give away. Lol. There are so many fabrics I could buy, and do buy. However, I have fallen in love with Pat’s current line. I bought the Tea Party kit and several others in yardage, but I could buy the rest of them. I could also buy yardage of the back and white daisies of her other line. I think of my mom every time I see it, and today marks her 15th year that she passed. For some reason it is hitting me a little harder this year. She started my passion of fabric and quilting when I was four.

I love the Fat Quarter Shop. The fabric is great quality. Having a gift certificate would certainly help with postage to Australia. I look for gender neutral backings of which they have a great choice and at great prices. Even with postage and conversion rates they can be cheaper than what I can get here. Ooh, I’d love to win the gift certificate! I’m drawn to 1800’s fabrics and I love all primitive and French General but then I like the pink/red/aqua/navy type fabrics. Usually I buy precuts so I can have a wide variety of the line. Thanks for sharing with us every day.
