Wow! Two of my favorites. Pat Sloan & Fat Quarter Shop. I would just love to spend money at Fat Quarter Shop. Since retiring I’m attempting to get through my stash. Basic background fabric for charity quilts would be amazing as I am having to pace myself on a budget. Thank you for everything you do Pat!
TYPE of fabric would be 100% cotton from most any designer who has a lot of blue in their fabrics 😉 I actually quilt with every designers fabrics and love them all.

I buy most of my fabric from the FQS as the closest quilt shop is about 25 miles from my home. I enjoy the huge selection of fabrics and notions. Their service is outstanding, too! Recently, I have been building my stash of blenders and background fabrics. I love Pat’s widebacks, too!
My favorite types of fabrics are cotton prints. I love Moda and RBD designers SECOND after Pat Sloan. Right now I am trying to use the beautiful collections of fabrics I have purchased in the last few years. So when I am shopping I am particularly looking at neutral background fabrics and colorful backing fabrics ❤️
My second favorite fabrics are Christmas prints and Halloween prints. I usually buy yardage for quilts that I make and would love the opportunity to get a big fat quarter bundle. I dream of making a fall quilt with warm flannel fabric to go on my bed.

Hi Pat, I have been watching your videos for a couple of years now and have been shopping at the Fat Quarter Shop. One of the things that I would like to get is some of your Harmony wide backs. They are so pretty, but wishful thinking. You have brought me out of my comfort zone in using some of these different fabrics together. All come out so pretty.
