My favorite type of fabric is cotton! Ha, ha! There are so many different designers and the fabrics are all beautiful, but I think I love traditional fabrics the most, and I really enjoy using fabric within the same collection. By the way, Pat, I adore your collection Drawing Room!

I generally shop based on the ‘feel’ I am going for in the project. I may not even have a project selected when I am looking at fabric. It is all about ‘feel’ for me. I don’t usually like to limit myself to specific designers, mainly due to FOMO.
How wonderful would it be to win this gift certificate for the Fat quarter shop. I live in Canada and we all know the exchange is not great so I always have to think twice before buying anything, if I had this gift card I could get a few things on my wish list.

The Fat Quarter Shop is my favorite site for inspiration and purchasing fabric. I am a fan of yours and watch you everyday. I recently had cataract surgery and see fabric in a whole new light. I am a big fan of Lori Holt and have quite a big stash of her fabrics. I also love Corey Yoder’s and have made several quilts over the years from her fabrics. I love Pat’s fabrics (especially the Songbird line) – so pretty!

I don’t really have a favorite type of fabric. I just buy what catches my eye and then buy coordinating fabric to match. I do tend to like it more when it is on sale.

I love almost all fabric! But I am really drawn toward beautiful blues. As far as brand, I love Pat’s fabric, Laundry Basket fabrics, many other kinds. I especially am drawn toward Pat’s 108 inch wide backings. They really come in a great selection and are so beautiful.
I really like to use Grunge fabrics to add interest to the other fabrics in a quilt. I like your fabrics too Pat and hope to use some 9f your lines in future projects.

I really like any Northcott fabric but my favourite fabric to buy and use is any Batiks – they do not fray as readily as regular cotton and therefore the finished product is neater.

With all the gorgeous fabrics at the Fat Quarter Shop it’s really hard to choose just one as a favorite. I do love tone on tones in whites and beiges/tans and sometimes blacks for backgrounds and/or shashings. Keep up the good work FQS and thank you for this opportunity.

I love all fabrics but am particularly drawn to bright colors and child-themed fabrics since I make charity quilts for people in nursing homes (hence the bright colors to cheer them up) and quilts for local children’s hospitals.
