  1. My favorite flower is the yellow rose. It is my favorite because it is my home state’s, state flower and yellow. I love that the yellow rose symbolizes friendship.

  2. Lilacs are my favorite I have several bushes they smell so wonderful, and last for such a short time

  3. I love tulip’s, I guess because it was my mom’s favorite. She had a really big flower bed of tulip’s. When she passed, I dug up some bulbs, but none of them lived.

  4. Hi Pat! My favorite flower is the sweet pea. I remember being 10 years old and going out with my mom to pick them. They smelled so sweet! My second favorite is Hollyhocks…they are so colorful and cheerful!

  5. My favorite flower is the Pans, they come in such a variety of colors.. I just smile when I see their little faces.

  6. Hi Pat- I really like a lot of flowers so it’s hard to pick just one-I might have to pick lavender and salvia – spiky plants.
I do like purple coneflowers as well and black eyed Susan’s – I lean toward perennials. Love watching your videos every day – that’s how I begin my day drinking coffee. Thank you.

  7. My favorite flower is the hibiscus because it’s blossoms are beautiful and as big as saucers. The red ones are my little pug’s favorite ones but that’s because he likes to eat them. They must be delicious!

  8. My favorite flower is the lilac, it smells wonderful and it reminds me of my mother who loved the color purple . Thanks

  9. I love all the flowers that make an appearance in my garden. I have been making table runners and microwave cozies as fund raisers and have not made anything for me. I would love to win the kit and make the quilt to keep.

  10. My favorite Spring flower is Tulips, love seeing the rebirth of our seasons. Then hydrangeas are my next favorite for summer.

  11. My favorite flower is the Bleeding Heart. Love the shape and the color and the hummingbirds love it. Plus a bush was given to us by a neighbor when we lost our Scottie, Duffy.

  12. Myra protein flower is a white with pink and yellow rose. My daddy grew them around the pine trees in our yard. We always had a rose to wear on Easter and Mother’s Day. One bush grew a white with pink and yellow on it and he always let me have that one, It was unusual because I am the middle child of five.

  13. My favorite flower is the Red Rose. I have never been able to grow a rose bush but my grandmother in law grew beautiful roses and one year we saved all the petals and made rose beads and strung them on a necklace. It was beautiful and I wish to this day we would have saved that necklace. The time spent with her was so meaningful I had already lost both of my maternal grandmothers so having her for special projects was a blessing, she has been gone for 4 years, she made it to 100. Love and miss her.

  14. I love all the different varieties of sunflowers. ā¤ļø
Thank you Pat for all that you do. ā¤ļø

  15. My favorite flower is a Rose. 🌹. They come in so many colors.
My grandma could grow them from a branch. She had so many different varieties of colors.
Both of my Grandmas had lots of Roses and my precious mom also grew them. I always loved the fragrance they provided.
    Enjoy your flowers: Cherie K.

  16. Freesia – the smell evokes memories of bootuneers, weddings, proms, etc. I would have them everywhere if I could keep them alive.

  17. My favorite flower is the Tulip. Since I am an April baby, they bloom now and come in so many colors and types. Just love them!!

  18. I love your channel Pat and all your enthusiasm for quilting and life. My favorite flower for sure is a Yellow Rose. I love all flowers but, the yellow rose always reminds me of happy times and warms my heart.

  19. It’s hard to say which flower is my favorite as we have white and lavender lilacs, roses, rhododendrons, Dalia, Calla lilies and peonies in our yard and I love them all. If I really had to choose I suppose it would be lavender lilacs because my late mother-in-law brought me a cut from her lilac and we picked a spot in the front yard and planted it so it is special to me.

  20. Sunflowers are my favorite. First of all, I’m a Kansas kid and sunflowers are our state flowers. But they are my favorite because they are bright and sunshine-y, come in lots of varieties and always find the sun (they look on the bright side.)

  21. My favorite flower is the daffodil. They are the first to bloom in my yard and are such sunny, bright harbingers of Spring.

  22. I love the bright yellow-orange of the Day Lily and also love that it’s so bright, perky and easy to grow. The ones near my front door greet me as I come and go.

  23. Hi Pat. I love zinnias because they remind me of when I would take my 2 year old son to plant zinnias. He would be so fascinated with them when they bloomed. He is now going on 53 years old. Time flies.

  24. Black eye Susan quilt is so sweet…thx Pat for the fun “Grandma Kitchen” quilt along I am channeling the 50’s tablecloth feeling as I pick out my fabrics for each block….brings back lots of sweet memories of my parents and grandparent long gone.

  25. My favorite flowers are daffodils because they bloom first after a long winter along the shores of Lake Erie in NE Ohio.

  26. Picking one favorite flower is impossible. I will just say one of them. I love coneflowers. They crow wild in ND and I loved when they were blooming along the sides of the country roads.

  27. I love the Black Eyed Susan – and would love, love to win the kit. As for my yard – I love the Day Lillies – all colors, because. . .they grow almost anywhere and the soil here in my addition is . . .clay! Thanks Pat for everything you do for the quilting community – those that are seasoned and us, older quiliters who just begun after retirement and all in between. I’ve been sewing/quilting for about 2 1/2 years now – at 75, I have to try out as many sample blocks as possible. I’m also following along with the 100 blocks – and have finished 17 so far. Did my first applique block with the Grandma’s Kitchen sew along. Again, THANKS for ALL you do, Pat!

  28. I love roses, so that would be my favorite! My Grandma Rose had beautiful roses in her small backyard and I used to love helping her care for them, so I believe that early love got me started! 🌹🌹

  29. Dalia’s are my favorite flowers. They come in such beautiful colors. Also I love lilacs for the smell

  30. Please enter me in the giveaway of the kit. I love flowers, most any flower is my favorite. I love spring.

  31. I love flowers (favorite is black eyed Susan’s, but also coneflowers). Sadly, am a poor flower child- they cry when having to come home with me. Lol

  32. Roses are my favorite as those are the ones that I remember from my grandma’s garden. Also, a favorite of my favorite aunt whom I had spent alot of time with as well.

  33. My favorite flower is the tulip, especially yellow ones. They remind me of spring and I love that they bloom so early in the year.
