I am the host of Aurifil’s Designer of the Month program for the last 6 years. And during that time we have had so many cute projects from our fantastic designers! I suggested to the Aurifil we run the 2012 Embroidery Block of the Month again as it’s darling and many of you might have missed it! (I know.. hard to believe!)

We are making the blocks again with AuriFloss and a black and white setting using AuriFloss, wooden spools, yummy colors.. yes please!
Some designers used the 12wt, which is equally yummy. You can get my Hometown thread Kit which has a spool of each weight for you to try!

I’ve been tracing with this super nice lightbox. it is VERY reasonable and makes tracing so much easier to do than taping to a window! Yes.. that is what I used to do ..eek!

Kathleen i don’t know why some people are having trouble.. my only solution for you is
1- download to your computer & print from there
2- change devices
3- change browsers
4- upgrade your pdf reader

Regarding June Block.
I am having the same problem of black background and white lettering. Page 4 has just the heading. I did download the instruction, but they are the same as before downloading. All the other blocks were okay.

I’m getting the same black background and no layout diagram. Guess I’ll improvise.
Yep I’m getting the same, download in black and the picture to copy onto fabric isn’t even there.
Pat I’ve tried to download the embroidery block 5 times it comes up as black background wording is there with inst, but the pattern is not showing up, any suggestions?
I also got the black with white lettering and no picture. It’s a shame to waste so much ink.
The June block and directions downloaded okay for me on Saturday afternoon. My 4 pages printed just fine.
Begining of June assignement for The Roundabout was gather fabrics & cut & prep pattern pieces for applique.Vines star etc no butterfly.Thought another assignement was coming out near end of mo. DID I miss a news letter??? Can’t seem to find any other info.
Junes basket of flowers would not download completely, pages that would download printed in black with white lettering. Picture would not dowmload.
